PLUG CONNECTION BETWEEN TWO TUBULAR WORKPIECES MADE OF CONCRETE, EACH WORKPIECE HAVING AN INNER LINER MADE OF PLASTIC
20200370685 · 2020-11-26 ·

The invention relates to a plug connection between two tubular workpieces (1, 2) which are made of concrete and each of which has an inner liner (5) made of plastic, one of which forms a tip end (3) and the other a socket end (4) receiving the tip end (3), wherein the inner liners (5) have circumferential sealing flanges (12) which cover the end face (13) of the tip end (3) or the socket face (14) and wherein a joint seal (16) is provided between the sealing flanges (12). In order to provide advantageous structural conditions, it is proposed that the inner liners (5) are provided with a circumferential elastomer angled profiled section (8, 9) at the end face, which receives the circumferential edge of the inner liner (5) in an end-face profiled groove (11) of its axially parallel limb (10) and whose limb at a right angle to the axis forms the sealing flange (12).

Kits and methods for fiber composites including partially-cured resinous materials for the reinforcement of physical structures

A composite system for the reinforcement of physical structures includes a plurality of unidirectional fibers arranged with respective longitudinal axes generally parallel to each other over a substantial portion of a length of each unidirectional fiber. The plurality of unidirectional fibers are non-mechanically connected. A resinous material adheres the plurality of unidirectional fibers to each other such that each one of the plurality of unidirectional fiber is adhered to at least one adjacent one of the plurality of unidirectional fibers along a substantial portion of the length of the adjacent one of the plurality unidirectional fibers.

Trenchless integrative repair method for concrete drainage pipeline with cracking, corrosion and subsidence

A prong is configured for use with a concrete reinforcement element and includes first and second legs positioned opposite first and second sides of the prong and a bridge portion connecting distal ends the legs, where the bridge portion forms a first end of the prong. The legs extend from the bridge portion to a second end of the prong opposite the first end, and each of the legs has a proximal end at the second end of the prong. The proximal end of the first leg is bent toward the second leg, and the proximal end of the second leg is bent toward the first leg, such that the proximal ends of the legs overlap each other. Inner surfaces of the proximal ends of the legs define engagement surfaces configured to engage a tie wire, enabling the proximal ends to be connected to the tie wire.

REINFORCED CONCRETE PIPE

Structural body comprises a concrete core and a cap around the opening. A first wrap is wrapped under tension around the concrete core and a portion of the cap to form a continuous water resistant barrier around the outer surface of the concrete core. A second wrap can be wrapped under tension around the inner surface of concrete core to form a continuous water resistant barrier around the inner surface of the concrete core. Structural body can be formed as a pipe with a male and female ends to interconnect multiple pipes. The joint formed between two structural bodies has a continuous water resistant barrier that prevents the environment from contacting the concrete core.

Systems and Methods of Concrete Apparatus with Incorporated Lifter
20200123794 · 2020-04-23 · ·

Systems and methods for a concrete apparatus with incorporated lifter are provided. A concrete apparatus is formed by placing a reinforcement system in a mold. The reinforcement system comprises a lifter. Concrete is poured into the mold such that the lifter protrudes from the poured concrete. After the concrete has hardened and the mold is removed, the lifter is used to carry and position the concrete apparatus. After the concrete apparatus is positioned, the lifter is removed at the circumference of the concrete apparatus leaving no holes, thereby eliminating water leakage due to lifting methods.

Modular precast pipe

A modular pipe and a method of installing the pipe uses a first pipe section positioned in end to end relation with a second pipe section, the first and second pipe sections being precast from a cement-based material, wherein each pipe section has an outer surface, a flow passage, a first end, and a second end. Each end has a connection profile, an axis, and an end face that is perpendicular to the axis. A collar surrounds and secures the connection between adjacent ends. The collar is constructed from a plurality of collar elements. Each collar element overlaps the pipe connection and engages the connection profile along a portion of the perimeter of each of the first end of the second pipe section and the second end of the first pipe section.
