PIPE FOR HEATING A CRYOGENIC LIQUEFIED GAS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
A pipe for heating a cryogenic liquefied gas, the pipe having a peripheral wall including a ply of one or more electrically conductive carbon fibers, the ply being configured and electrically connectable to a power supply such that the one or more carbon fibers are heated when power is supplied to the ply.

MULTIPLE-USE DRINKING STRAWS AND THEIR PRODUCTION
The present invention deals with a tube (1) with a tube base body (2) which consists of glass, wherein at least the inside of the tube base body (2) is at least partially covered a hydrophobic coating (3). The use of such tubes (1) as drinking straws leads to multiple use, ecologically friendly drinking straws which meet hygienic requirements and have a good cleanability. The present invention also deals with a process for producing such tubes.
GLASS TUBE ELEMENT WITH IMPROVED QUALITY
A glass tube element having hollow cylindrical section that has a shell enclosing a lumen and extends along a main extension and an optical delay of a light ray. The shell has a surface facing away from the lumen. The optical delay has values that all fall within a range having a size of between 3 and 30 nm. The optical delay being an optical measurement of the glass tube element by the light ray extending along a measurement path in a direction of perpendicular to the main extension and tangent to a surface of the shell. The measurement path touches the surface for different measurements at different positions each having a different azimuth angle within a cylindrical coordinate system fixedly attached to the glass tube element and having an origin on a center axis of the glass tube element.
PIPE WITH AN OUTER WRAP
This disclosure relates generally to corrugated pipe, and more particularly to corrugated pipe with an outer wrap. In one embodiment, a pipe includes an axially extended bore defined by a corrugated outer wall having axially adjacent, outwardly-extending corrugation crests, separated by corrugation valleys. The pipe also includes an outer wrap applied to the outer wall. The outer wrap may include fibers and plastic. The outer wrap may span the corrugation crests producing a smooth outer surface.
Tubular element to transfer abrasive materials, in particular concrete, and method to make it
A method to make a tubular element to transfer abrasive materials such as concrete, inert materials or suchlike, where the tubular element includes an external tubular component made of steel and an internal tubular component, coaxial to the external tubular component, where the internal tubular component is made of chromium carbide, or other similar material resistant to wear.

Gas-tight, heat-permeable multilayer ceramic composite tube
The present invention relates to a gastight multilayer composite tube having a heat transfer coefficient of >500 W/m.sup.2/K and comprising at least two layers, namely a layer of nonporous monolithic oxide ceramic and a layer of oxidic fiber composite ceramic, a connecting piece comprising at least one metallic gas-conducting conduit which in the longitudinal direction of the composite tube overlaps in a region at least two ceramic layers, where the one ceramic layer comprises a nonporous monolithic ceramic and the other ceramic layer comprises a fiber composite ceramic, and also the use of the multilayer composite tube as reaction tube for endothermic reactions, radiation tubes, flame tubes or rotary tubes.
