Provided are an apparatus for manufacturing a compound powder, a method of manufacturing an iron-boron compound powder by using the apparatus, a boron alloy powder mixture, a method of manufacturing the boron alloy powder mixture, a combined powder structure, a method of manufacturing the combined powder structure, a steel pipe, and a method of manufacturing the steel pipe The method of manufacturing the boron alloy powder mixture includes: preparing a mixed powder including a boron iron alloy powder and a target powder; heat-treating the mixed powder to boronize at least a portion of the target powder and de-boronize at least a portion of the boron iron alloy powder, thereby de-boronizing the boron iron alloy powder to reduce the melting point of the boron iron alloy powder.

Multi-layered fuel tubing

The invention describes a flexible tubular article for transport of volatile hydrocarbons comprising: (a) an inner layer of a polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) polymer or a polyvinylidene difluoride copolymer; (b) an intermediate thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) layer extruded in tubular form over the inner PVDF layer, and (c) a polyvinyl chloride polymer extruded in tubular form over the outside surface of the intermediate layer and being coextensive therewith. The tubular articles of the invention have a maximum permeation rating of 15 g/m.sup.2/day under SAE J1737 test conditions.

FUEL PIPE OF AIRCRAFT AND AIRCRAFT
20170267368 · 2017-09-21 ·

To provide a fuel pipe of an aircraft that makes it possible to maintain temperature of fuel in the fuel pipe at appropriate temperature while giving consideration to reliability that is constantly required for the aircraft. A fuel pipe provided in an airframe of the aircraft includes: an inner pipe defining a flow path through which fuel flows; and an outer pipe surrounding an outer periphery of the inner pipe. A gap is provided between the outer periphery of the inner pipe and an inner periphery of the outer pipe. The inner pipe is made of a rubber material, and the outer pipe is made of a metal material.

Insulated flowpath assembly

A flowpath assembly has a first conduit defining a flowpath radially inward, and a second conduit spaced radially outward from the first conduit. A void defined between the first and second conduits contains an insulating material that may have a greater porosity than the first and second conduits. The assembly may be additive manufactured generally as one unitary piece with the raw material of the conduits being melted and solidified on a slice-by-slice basis and the insulating material being selectively bypassed by an energy gun of an additive manufacturing system.
