FIRE-FIGHTING APPLIANCE FOR DISTRIBUTING WATER DROPLETS
20170232283 · 2017-08-17 · ·

A fire-fighting appliance for distributing water droplets includes a rotating nozzle unit configured with nozzles distributed about the periphery of the nozzle unit, and a tubular element that is prepared for connection to a source of water for supply of water to the nozzles. Furthermore, the fire-fighting appliance includes a motor that is attached to the tubular element and is driven by the water pressure from the water source. The motor is rotatably connected to the nozzle unit and an adjusting device is provided for controlling the rotational speed of the motor for dispersing water droplets through the nozzles in a pulsating action.

Water Spraying Fan for Firefighting

A water spraying fan for firefighting. The water spraying fan includes a fan mechanism mounted onto a rotatable surface attached to a base. The fan mechanism has a plurality of fan blades connected to a power source and adapted to rotate quickly, creating a strong air flow when powered on. A cage encloses the fan blades and includes one or more circular manifolds secured to a front side and positioned concentric to the fan blade axis. The manifolds contain a plurality of nozzles that are configured to disperse a liquid, such as water. The manifolds are connected to a water source via a flow control box. When activated, water flows out of the nozzles and is carried across an extended distance via the water pressure and the strong air flow created by the fan mechanism. The water spraying fan can be rotated or tilted to achieve optimal positioning.

Fire suppression spray nozzle

A spray nozzle directs fluid forwardly, perpendicularly, and rearwardly angled from a fire hose to enhance spray distribution from a single piece nozzle. The spray nozzle includes a cylindrical body having an open end and a spray end. A plurality of apertures extends through the cylindrical body to expel fluid from the spray nozzle in a roughly spherical dispersal while atomizing the fluid to enhance firefighting capability.

Injection head for liquid fire extinguishing agent

An injection head for liquid fire extinguishing agent that has an injection head including an injection head body connecting with a pipe providing the liquid fire extinguishing agent, an orifice plate arranged in the injection head body and formed with an orifice through which flowing the liquid fire extinguishing agent and, a porous member having a block shape arranged in an exiting part of the orifice and, a baffle plate arranged contacting with an end surface of the porous member opposite side of the exiting part of the orifice; and the baffle plate covers at least a projected area of a circumscribed circle of the orifice of the end surface of the porous member and, the liquid fire extinguishing agent is released via a gap formed between the injection head body and the baffle plate.

Fire suppression nozzle, nozzle assembly, and method for C6-based solution

A fire suppression nozzle assembly includes a spray-type nozzle for spraying a fire suppression fluid. The spray-type nozzle includes a body portion defining a passage extending longitudinally through the body portion for conveying the fire suppression fluid. The spray-type nozzle also includes a deflector portion coupled to the body portion and configured to spray the fire suppression fluid onto a fire suppression target area using a radial spray pattern.
