The method is for manufacturing a tube in which a stretching film is fastened for a length of over one turn on both sides of a tube mesh that is only expandable on a circumference thereof. Each film is also fastened to itself. An expandable tube is formed which is expandable to a circumference allowed by the tube mesh.

ANISOTROPIC PIPE LINER

A pipe including an inner layer, an outer layer, a jacket layer, and an anisotropic layer positioned between the jacket and outer layers is provided. The anisotropic layer is formed from weaving a number of more rigid, monofilament fill strands and a number of less rigid multifilament warp strands. The fill strands may be formed from single, six hundred-ten (610) denier polyester filament while the warp strands may be formed from a series of two hundred-twenty (220) denier polyester threads. The anisotropic layer permits limited rotation of the inner and outer pipe layers without inserting into the gaps formed by the jacket layer when exposed to intense heat and pressure and is not subjected to significant creep during use.

Composite articles and methods of producing same

TUBULAR WOVEN LINER

A woven tubular liner comprising an outer surface comprising outer wefts and warps and an inner surface comprising inner wefts and the warps, wherein the inner and outer surfaces are connected by the warps, the outer wefts being protected from an environment inside of the tubular linear and the inner wefts being protected from an environment outside of the tubular liner. The method comprises repeating a weaving unit of continuous outer wefts and continuous inner wefts running uninterrupted along a circumferential direction, woven with continuous warps running along a longitudinal direction, offsetting positions of the warps relative to the wefts in the weaving unit, selectively interlacing outer wefts with the warps, and selectively interlacing inner wefts with the warps.
