AIR HOSE
20230417346 · 2023-12-28 · ·

An air hose includes a first component, a second, elastic component and one or more fastening positions and/or a continuous fastener. The first component has a first end and a second end, wherein the first and second ends of the first component define a first component length therebetween. The second component has a first end and a second end, wherein the first and second ends of the second component define a second component length therebetween. The one or more fastening positions and/or continuous fastener extends along the second component length and fastens the second component to the first component in an axial direction of the air hose. The air hose is operable between a first condition in which the second component length is less than the first component length and is collapsible in a radial direction, and a second condition in which the second component length is the same as the first component length and the first component is held against a biasing force of the second component such that the air hose is open in the radial direction.

CONDUIT AND METHOD OF FORMING

FILAMENT REINFORCED TAPES USEFUL AS UNDERWATER PIPE WRAP

A member for use in undersea applications comprising a plurality of conduits assembled into a bundle; the bundle being wrapped with a pressure-sensitive tape comprising a backing, a layer of corrosion-resistant yarns on one surface of the backing, and pressure-sensitive adhesive layer that coats the corrosion-resistant yarns and binds them to the backing.

Metal strip winding continuous reinforced thermoplastic composite pipe

The present invention discloses a metal strip winding continuous reinforced thermoplastic composite pipe. The present invention adopts a method designed for grouping the winding metal strips to rationally distribute the winding mode of the metal strips, and at the same time, increases the hoop strength and axial strength of the pipe by using the feature of high strength of the metal strips, thereby improving the compressive capacity of the pipe; there is no bonding between the metal strip reinforcement layers, which improves the flexibility of the composite pipe and reduces the relative slippage between the metal strip layers; the production process is simple, and requirements for the equipment investment are small, thereby greatly reducing the manufacturing cost and ensuring the flexibility and seismic resistance of the pipeline.

FLEXIBLE HOSE WITH HELICAL STIFFENER
20210003233 · 2021-01-07 ·

A flexible hose assembly includes a length of tubular hose formed from a spiral-wrapped layer of polymer material. A helical stiffener is disposed on an outer surface of the tubular hose. The helical stiffener comprises an elastomer material that is configured to bond or adhere to the polymer material of the tubular hose.

A method for manufacturing a flexible air duct includes: winding a strip made from fabric over a turn around the core with a non-zero angle of incidence , considering the direction of travel of the strip relative to a plane perpendicular to the axis of the core, so that one edge of the strip is covered by overlapping of the other edge of the part of the strip approaching the core, rotating the strip around the core, continuously joining the two overlapping edges together by means of a sewing head or a welding head or a gluing head, provided with means for translating the fabric, characterized in that it consists of using the means for translating the fabric in order to continuously wind the strip around the core.

TUBING MARKERS

Tube markers for use in infusion sets are provided. An infusion tube includes a tube marker positioned from a tube end at a distance equal to the distance between an external edge and a hard stop of a fluid port of an infusion set component. The tube marker provides an external visual indicator of the fit between the infusion tube and the infusion set component, such as whether there is a gap between the end of the infusion tube and hard stop of the fluid port. The tube marker may be pad printed or laser etched on the tube. The tube marker may also be a tube sleeve over molded or heat shrunk onto the tube. Methods of providing tube markers are also provided.
