Threaded joint

There is disclosed a threaded joint for coupling together rods, tubes, pipes etc. The joint consists of helical box and pin thread segments each defined by a pressure flank and a clearance flank spaced apart from each other with alternating roots and crests. The pressure flank is defined by an S-curve extending between the root and the crest, which is defined by a first curvature c1 adjacent to the root and a second curvature c2 adjacent to the crest. c1 and c2 curve in opposing directions with an inflection point “i” between curvatures c1 and c2.

A description is given of an internally hollow fitting for the passage of a liquid, in particular water, with a component to restrain unmovably a pipe of an irrigation system, wherein restraining component of the pipe is carried by a ring nut screwing on an external thread of the at least one end of the fitting.

Mist capture device for hydraulic fitting

A mist capture device for a hydraulic fitting. In one embodiment, the mist capture device includes a plurality of bodies configured to fit together to form an assembled body around the hydraulic fitting. The mist capture device also includes an internal socket surface formed inside the assembled body configured to engage the hydraulic fitting. The mist capture device further includes a mist enclosure formed inside the assembled body configured to capture hydraulic fluid spraying from the hydraulic fitting as the hydraulic fitting is rotated via the internal socket.

Unitized male hose fitting

A fitting assembly comprises a male coupling having a male thread and an aperture defining an inner circumferential surface of the male coupling. The inner circumferential surface includes a plurality of spaced apart grooves. A tail piece is at least partially received in the aperture of the male coupling. A hose is received and compressed in a space formed between the inner circumferential surface of the male coupling and an outer circumferential surface of the tail piece. The hose is deformed into the plurality of the spaced apart grooves formed in the inner circumferential surface of the male coupling to form an interference fit therebetween.

Coupler

A coupler, adapted for being assembled and connected with a water sprayer, includes a sleeve and a coupling member adapted for being assembled and connected with the water sprayer. The coupling member and the sleeve are sleeved with each other and respectively have a first corresponding end and a second corresponding end which correspond to each other. The first corresponding end and the second corresponding end are adapted to be engaged with each other, so that the sleeve and the coupling member are capable of being mutually locked and into a non-rotatable state through the engagement and rotation meshing operation. The sleeve can be disengaged with the coupling member through axially moving the sleeve so that the sleeve is allowed to be axially rotatable.

COUPLING UNIT FOR FLUID ELEMENT

A coupling unit for a fluid element includes a monolithic body having a head and a threaded portion extending from the head, the threaded portion including a core and a thread formed on the core. The monolithic body defines a first bore and a second bore that extend through the monolithic body substantially parallel to each other, the first and second bores each having a circular cross-section.

Coupling assembly and protective ring therefor

A coupling assembly includes a coupling, a protective ring and two tubulars, the coupling of generally cylindrical shape with a channel therethrough, the coupling having at least one internal thread and two coupling ends and a pin end of at least one of the two tubulars having an external thread for threaded mating therewith so that the coupling assembly provides a connection between the two tubulars, the protective ring including a ring body for positioning adjacent an interior wall of the coupling between the two ends thereof, the ring body being generally cylindrical and having a ring channel therethrough, the protective ring includes one of a tongue and groove and at least one of the ends of at least one of the two tubulars having the other of a tongue and groove.

PARALLEL LATCH COUPLING HAVING LEAKPROOF ARRANGEMENTS

A latch coupling includes male and female connector assemblies releasably secured together. The male connector assembly includes two parallel male connectors and first latches. The female connector assembly includes two parallel female connectors and second latches. A sleeve is releasably connected to an end of the female connector. Force is exerted on the second latches to hook the first latches so as to connect the female and male connector assemblies together. The parallel female connectors can be disconnected from the parallel male connectors or connected together at the same time. After the female connectors have disengaged from the male connectors, leakproof arrangements in the female connector assembly act to prevent water in the female connector assembly from leaking.

COUPLING FOR PIPES, FLUID FLOW SYSTEM INCLUDING THE COUPLING, AND METHOD OF REDUCING CONTAMINATION OF WATER

Disclosed is a system and a method for reducing or eliminating lead and other harmful materials in water. The system is configured for fluid flow where the system includes: a semi-rigid pipe (SRP) disposed inside a first existing pipe; two coupling assemblies disposed over and sealingly coupled to the ends of the SRP. Each assembly includes: a coupling with a nipple configured to receive and be disposed inside the SRP; and a compression nut that includes an inner surface that tapers inward such that threading the compression nut onto the coupling presses the semi-rigid pipe against the nipple to form a fluid-tight seal.
