Fire hose couplings and adapters
Fire hose couplings and adapters are configured to receive, by any of various types of interconnections, a wide range of attachments enhancing the utility of the associated fire hose. The attachments are secured to the coupler or adapter by way of an appropriate locking engagement, such as by a dovetail connector, setscrews, chemical attachment, adhesives and the like. The attachments cover a broad range of handles, reflective and directional devices, analog and digital sensors/monitors/indicators, and carabiners, and both threaded and unthreaded studs adapted for appropriate receipt of any of a broad range of attachments or uses.
Connector assembly and method
A connector assembly for connection of two tubular members without rotation. The assembly includes the pin end of a first tubular member stabbed within the connector end of a second tubular member. A connector nut is threadedly connected or snap locked to the connector end of the second tubular member. The connector nut includes a retaining shoulder cooperating with a beveled shoulder on the pin end of the first tubular member to retain the first tubular member. The assembly includes seals to provide pressure integrity and prevent leaking. Cooperating rotational torque transfer profiles in the first and second tubular members enable operational rotation of the tubular string.

Hydraulic fracturing connection assembly
A connection assembly and a method comprises first and second connector portions having a preload mechanism comprising a plurality of bores and threaded fixings circumferentially spaced around the axis, wherein the preload mechanism is arranged to apply an axial load between shoulders on the first and second connector portions when torque is applied to the threaded fixings. An annular sealing member is compressed between the first and second portions, and the axial load applied between the first and second shoulders by the preload mechanism exceeds a peak hydrodynamic load urging the first and second connector portions in a direction along the axis. The axial force applied by the preload mechanism advantageously reduces the fatigue damage experienced by the connection, for example, by cyclic pressure changes within the connector portions typically caused by pumps operating at high pressures.

Loosening-preventing device for pipe fitting
A loosening-preventing device for pipe fitting. In the device, a casing includes a semispherical member equipped with an open surface, a female screw thread disposed at one end of the semispherical member, and a finishing member disposed at the other end of the semispherical member. A locking member has a male screw thread and a head at one end of the male screw thread, so as to connect to the female screw thread of the casing. The screw clamping of the casing and the locking member prevents the pipe fitting from rotating, thereby preventing the pipe fitting from being loosened.

THREADED INSERT FOR CONNECTIONS OF TUBES AND ACCESSORIES FOR LIQUID AND GASEOUS FLUIDS IN GENERAL
The present invention relates to a threaded insert for the connection of tubes and accessories, such as fittings for liquid and gaseous fluids in general, directed to the tube male/female connections of the type that are connected together from one of its ends by thermo fusion, cold welding, with rubber ring, among other possible forms of connection, that prevent the leakage through the male/female connection of the pieces. That includes a tubular metallic body, which includes a first male segment tightly coupled to the end of a pipe or the fitting, and a second male segment including an outer coating of elastomeric material which defines a thread sealant between the parts to be connected. The first male segment includes a cross-section larger than the diameter of the second male segment, thus forming a step between both segments. Preferably, the elastomeric material is PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), even though in practice can also use other materials that perform the sealing function efficiently.

System and method for anti-rotation between tubulars
A system for blocking rotation between a first tubular and a second tubular includes a key positioned within a recess formed in the first tubular. The system also includes a retention fastener securing the key to the first tubular, the retention fastener being arranged within an elongated aperture extending through the key. The system further includes an installation fastener moving the key from a storage configuration when in a first position to an engaged configuration when in a second position, the installation fastener having a tapered face that engages at least a portion of the key. The system also includes teeth arranged along a bottom portion of the key, proximate the second tubular, the teeth engaging the second tubular via rotation of the key about the retention fastener and blocking rotation of the first tubular relative to the second tubular in a first direction.
