Sprinkler Adapter and Pipe Plug
An adapter for joining a sprinkler to a pipe element has a body with outer flat surfaces and grooves that receive seals. A plug for sealing a pipe element has a cylindrical body with a circumferential groove which receives seals. Both the adapter and the plug fit within the pipe element and are secured and sealed by a deformation formed in the pipe element by a circumferential groove. The deformation mechanically engages the grooves in the body of the adapter and the plug.

Seal component for fluid distribution system
A seal component includes a cylindrical wall, a frustoconical wall extending inwardly from the cylindrical wall, and a seal plate enclosing the frustoconical wall. The seal plate includes a first removable panel and a second removable panel, the second removable panel disposed within an area of the first removable panel. A seal component includes a circumferential ridge circumscribing the second removable panel, the circumferential ridge integrally formed with the seal plate and removably coupled with at least the second removable panel. Additionally, the seal plate includes circumferential grooves and scoring lines that provide a cutting guide to facilitate cutting and removing at least one of the first and second removable panels.
Robust fluid coupling apparatus
A target material supply apparatus includes: first and second fluid flow components (1122, 1126) that define an axial flow path when joined together, in which the axial flow path is between a source of target material fluid and a nozzle supply apparatus; and a coupling apparatus configured to seal the joint between the first and second fluid flow components. The coupling apparatus includes a gasket (1105) having an annular shape defining an inner opening that is a part of the axial flow path when seated and sealed. When the gasket is seated between the first and second fluid flow components to thereby seal the joint formed by attaching the first and second fluid flow components, pressure applied to the gasket from target material fluid traversing the gasket inner opening along the axial flow path improves the hermetic function of the seal at the joint. Optionally, a functional insert like e.g. a flow restrictor (1160) can be seated in the gasket.

Merlin drilling riser assembly
An improved drilling riser assembly including a male drilling riser assembly section and a female drilling riser assembly section that form a connection joint when mated. The drilling riser assembly sections having an internal stab type main drilling riser connector. The drilling riser assembly sections each have main drilling riser flanges that have helically threaded rings on an outer edge of the flange. A box and pin connector each have an inner helically threaded ring that mates with the outer helical flange ring of a drilling riser assembly section. The box and pin connectors extend towards each other and make up an enclosed compression joined mating section around the stab type connectors of the drilling riser assembly.
Intermediate sealing for ultradeep water applications
A sealing arrangement and a method for testing the integrity of a sealing arrangement of a flexible pipe are disclosed. The method includes locating a first annular sealing element and a second annular sealing element in a joint between two elements of a flexible pipe, with a region of the joint therebetween; and pressurizing the region between the first sealing element and the second sealing element through a port extending towards the region to a predetermined pressure of 0.2 MP or greater.

FITTING ASSEMBLY EVALUATING APPARATUS AND METHODS
The present application discloses methods and apparatus for installing fitting components, such as a conduit gripping device, on a conduit to form an assembly. The assembly is joinable with at least one other fitting component to form a fitting. The present application also discloses methods and apparatus for evaluating characteristics of components of a mechanically attached connection. Characteristics that may be evaluated include, but are not limited to, the position of a conduit gripping device on a conduit, an amount of axial compression or stroke of the conduit gripping device, an amount of clamping force applied to the conduit gripping device as the conduit gripping device is compressed, and an amount of torque applied to members that compresses the conduit gripping device.
