Sealing member having projection part for pipe connection
Provided is a pipe connecting sealing member including a projection part includes a body part that is provided between the outer surface of the pipe and the inner surface of the connector to which the pipe is inserted, and is formed to extend in a ring shape along a circumferential direction; and the projection part that is formed in a spiral shape forming an unlimited orbit and projects along the outer surface of the body part.
PUSH-TO-CONNECT FITTING ASSEMBLY AND DEVICE
A push-to-connect fitting assembly and device allows for visual inspection of proper connection through, among other things, a formed main body component that is at least partially transparent or translucent. In various embodiments, a sleeve member is movably secured around the main body component and provided with one or more transparent or translucent windows through which to confirm proper fitting connections during use.

O-RING BELLOWS CONNECTION ASSEMBLY WITH OPTIONAL HEAT SHIELD AND LOCK AND SEAL FOR BELLOWS TUBE
An improved connection apparatus for connecting a tube bellows to a spigot for a battery pack (of an electric vehicle EV) having a heat deflector including an outer sleeve and a wire mesh ring. The spigot is connected to a battery pack in an EV having a cooling system. The cooling spigot of the EV is configured to accept a flow of glycol to cool the battery. The connector of the bellows of the present application adds an o-ring groove to the bottom of the spigot. The apparatus is then hydroformed to include internal o-ring grooves and corresponding o-rings are positioned into those grooves. The top o-ring groove seals in a typical o-ring application and the bottom o-ring groove acts as a lock. When the cup assembly is pressed onto the spigot, the o-rings compress as part of their normal function when using o-rings as it moves down the spigot.

Fitting assembly evaluating apparatus and methods
The present application discloses methods and apparatus for installing fitting components, such as a conduit gripping device, on a conduit to form an assembly. The assembly is joinable with at least one other fitting component to form a fitting. The present application also discloses methods and apparatus for evaluating characteristics of components of a mechanically attached connection. Characteristics that may be evaluated include, but are not limited to, the position of a conduit gripping device on a conduit, an amount of axial compression or stroke of the conduit gripping device, an amount of clamping force applied to the conduit gripping device as the conduit gripping device is compressed, and an amount of torque applied to members that compresses the conduit gripping device.
