Gasket
11873900 · 2024-01-16 ·

Provided is a gasket, and more particularly, to a gasket including a C-ring end formed at at least one side of a kammprofile. According to the present invention, a higher bolting force and restoring force may be secured than those of other gaskets having the same size as the gasket. Furthermore, a core spring may be easily fixed and attached to the gasket through the C-ring end formed at the kammprofile without an external jacket. Accordingly, production costs may be decreased by simplifying the structure of the gasket as described above.

COUPLING FOR FLUID CONDUITS
20200149665 · 2020-05-14 ·

There is provided a coupling including a first member having a first body portion with threads tapered at a less than standard taper rate extending along an exterior surface thereof and a first flange portion extending therefrom. A first recess extends axially into the first flange portion and a first seal is located within the first recess. A body flange portion extends from the first body portion and axially spaced apart therefrom. A second recess extends axially into the first body flange portion and a second sealing ring is located within the second recess. The second seal is identical in size and shape with the first seal and is interchangeable therewith.

Seal and fitting assembly

In one example, a fitting assembly including a first fitting, a second fitting, and a seal positioned between the two fittings is disclosed. The first fitting includes a first product contacting sidewall and a first sealing face and the second fitting is coupled to the first fitting and includes a second product contacting sidewall and a second sealing face. The seal is positioned between the first and second sealing faces and includes a radially curved outer surface forming an exterior edge of the seal and a tail extending radially inwards from the radially curved outer surface, where the tail forms an interior edge of the seal that defines an opening through the seal. As connected, the first product contacting sidewall is substantially coplanar with the second product contacting sidewall and the seal seals a connection gap between the two sealing faces.

The present disclosure is related to bioprocessing devices, systems, and methods, and particularly to sanitary connections for bioprocessing. The devices, systems, and methods described herein can relate to the sanitary connection of flow fittings, such as reducers, with considerations for ease of assembly and sealing.

ROTARY SEAL
20200070293 · 2020-03-05 ·

A rotary union for use along an incompressible fluid path between a rotating machine component and a non-rotating machine component includes a non-rotating seal carrier including a non-rotating seal element, which together with the non-rotating seal carrier define a net hydraulic surface on an internal side and a net pneumatic surface on an external side. Contact of an incompressible fluid under pressure with the net hydraulic surface creates a closing force, and contact of a compressible fluid under pressure with the net pneumatic surface creates an opening force.

PIPE COUPLER HAVING FUNCTION OF COVERING PIPE
20200011466 · 2020-01-09 ·

The present invention relates to a pipe coupler having a function of covering a pipe. More particularly, the present invention relates to a pipe coupler which can prevent a coating layer of a pipe coated with the coating layer from being peeled from a tip of the pipe by a continuously acting hydraulic pressure by forming a pipe locking protrusion in which a front end of the pipe is surrounded and covered with a packing member, seal even a pipe having a non-smooth or grooved outer peripheral surface, and furthermore ensure watertightness or airtightness more reliably by using a pair of packing members acting in the form of a swash cam plate in accordance with an insertion of a pipe.
