Male or female fluid coupling element and fluid coupling including such an element

This coupling element has a body and a nozzle. The body delimits a housing for partially receiving the nozzle. The nozzle has a tubular part and a flange received in the housing. Two sealing barriers formed by at least one sealing joint are interposed between a rear surface of the flange and a front face of the body, between a front surface of the flange and a rear face of the body, respectively. A plug caps an inner conduit. Portions of the inner conduit communicate through at least one passage opening into an inner volume of the nozzle, forward of the plug, and on an outer peripheral surface of the flange. An inner chamber is separated from the inner conduit by the body, the flange, the plug and the first sealing barrier.

Pipe coupling for large pipe diameters with radial force grippers
12044340 · 2024-07-23 · ·

A pipe coupling includes two or more partially annular clamp housings, each of which includes two opposing clamp members and one or more tightening elements for tightening the clamp members towards each other in a direction transverse to an axial length of the annular clamp housings. An elastomeric seal assembly is located in seal housings at opposite axial ends of a cylindrical shell. Tightening the clamp members towards each other causes the elastomeric seal assembly to apply a radially-inward clamping force on a pipe or pipes clamped by the pipe coupling. Radial force grippers are spaced about a circumference of each of the annular clamp housings. Radially-inward forces of the radial force grippers create axially-directed forces on the pipe or pipes clamped by the pipe coupling.

High-pressure cryogenic fluid conduit
10221984 · 2019-03-05 · ·

High-pressure cryogenic fluid conduits that deliver high-pressure cryogenic fluids from a first point to a second point. This high-pressure fluid conduit has a safety feature that is activated when the high-pressure cryogenic fluid conduit fails due to exposure to a predetermined force. The safety feature is activated by the fracture of an annular ring that is positioned at either end of the high-pressure fluid conduit and is calibrated to fracture when exposed to the predetermined force. Fracture of the annular ring closes valves at each end of the high-pressure fluid conduit, thereby stopping the flow of high-pressure fluid from the high-pressure fluid source as well as the escape of high-pressure fluid from the high-pressure fluid container.

Enhanced seal

An enhanced seal may comprise an annular portion having an annular portion peripheral wall and a cylindrical portion having a cylindrical portion peripheral wall. A passageway may extend through each of the annular portion and cylindrical portion. One or more annular protrusions may extend away from the cylindrical portion.

Pressure differential device

A pressure differential device for attachment to a vessel to be used to smoke or vaporize tobacco or other consumables substances meant to be inhaled for pulmonary applications. The pressure differential device includes a chamber for receiving consumables, a tunnel running through the device, a flange for proper seating in a vessel, and a inner protruding member for attaching tunnel extension such as a straw.

Hydraulic connecting bush, hydraulic connection, and hydraulic plug
10088081 · 2018-10-02 · ·

A hydraulic connecting bush for correcting hydraulic lines for hydraulic circuit-breaker drives, having a hollow cylindrical main body with at least two annular grooves, extending circumferentially on the main body outer cylindrical surface and having sealing rings inserted therein, the main body being made of a material having a first elasticity modulus. The bush may be configured for overlapping insertion in hydraulic lines to be connected, in contact with each other at end faces, the hydraulic lines being made of a material having a second elasticity modulus, a gap forming between, the main body and the hydraulic lines, such that if the first elasticity modulus is less than the second elasticity modulus, and an internal pressure is applied, the main body expands more than the hydraulic lines and closes the gap in the region of the sealing rings.
