SEAL AND FITTING ASSEMBLY
In one example, a fitting assembly including a first fitting, a second fitting, and a seal positioned between the two fittings is disclosed. The first fitting includes a first product contacting sidewall and a first sealing face and the second fitting is coupled to the first fitting and includes a second product contacting sidewall and a second sealing face. The seal is positioned between the first and second sealing faces and includes a radially curved outer surface forming an exterior edge of the seal and a tail extending radially inwards from the radially curved outer surface, where the tail forms an interior edge of the seal that defines an opening through the seal. As connected, the first product contacting sidewall is substantially coplanar with the second product contacting sidewall and the seal seals a connection gap between the two sealing faces.

FLUID SEALS
A fluid seal may comprise an external sealing body, and an internal sealing body disposed within the external sealing body. The internal sealing body may be radially connected to the external sealing body by a webbing. Further, the external sealing body may hermetically seal a fluid path from the exterior of the fluid path, while the internal sealing body may hermetically seal the fluid path from within the interior of the fluid path.
RECIPROCATING COMPRESSOR AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A RECIPROCATING COMPRESSOR
A reciprocating compressor and a method of manufacturing a reciprocating compressor. The reciprocating compressor may include a discharge muffler forming a discharge chamber in which refrigerant compressed in a compression chamber flows and a discharge hose that extends from the discharge muffler to guide discharge of the refrigerant and coupled to the discharge pipe. At least a portion of the discharge muffler and the discharge hose are integrally formed using injection molding.
HAMMERLESS PIPE UNION
A device for forming a union of pipe ends includes two pipe connectors, each configured for attachment to an end of a length of pipe at one end and for joining to the other of the two connectors at the other end and a nut having a bore with internal threads configured to mate with outer threads on the outer surface of one or both of the two pipe connectors. The outer lateral surface of the nut includes a plurality of handle connection structures. The device includes a handle for increasing the amount of manually-generated torque on the nut during tightening or loosening of the nut with respect to the outer threads. The handle has a nut attachment end configured to engage the handle connection structures, and is provided with a mechanism for reversibly locking the handle to any of the plurality of handle connection structures of the nut.

PIPE COUPLINGS
A pipe coupling includes a coupling segment having an inner surface defining a ring groove proximate to an axial end of the coupling segment, the ring groove comprising a groove bottom surface extending from a first end of the coupling segment to a second end of the coupling segment; and a pipe connection ring disposed within the ring groove, the pipe connection ring defining a body with two ring ends and an outer surface, the outer surface of the pipe connection ring contacting the groove bottom surface at a midpoint between the first end of the coupling segment and the second end of the coupling segment when the pipe connection ring is in an uncompressed condition. The pipe connection ring may be a split ring defining an opening between the two ring ends, which may be square, tapered, angled, or stepped.
SEALING MEMBER HAVING PROJECTION PART FOR PIPE CONNECTION
Provided is a pipe connecting sealing member including a projection part includes a body part that is provided between the outer surface of the pipe and the inner surface of the connector to which the pipe is inserted, and is formed to extend in a ring shape along a circumferential direction; and the projection part that is formed in a spiral shape forming an unlimited orbit and projects along the outer surface of the body part.

Ultra-seal gasket for joining high purity fluid pathways
A ring-shaped gasket for making high-purity fluid pathway connections between opposing fluid delivery apparatus elements having at least one simple flat surface in contact with the gasket. The face of at least one apparatus element typically has a circular counterbore depression to receive the gasket, but is not required. The gasket has a body, pierced through by a hole creating a fluid pathway and defining a radial inner surface, and additionally having a radial outer surface, a first axial end surface and a second axial end surface. At least one of the first and second axial end surfaces has a stress concentration feature radially adjacent to a gasket sealing region, the sealing region constructed to be in contact with a face surface of a corresponding fluid conduit port. The stress concentration feature may be a groove or a plurality of cavities disposed adjacent the gasket axial end surface sealing region.
