Pipe connection for conducting a fluid that is under pressure

A pipe connection for conducting a fluid that is under pressure is provided, having two tubular connection parts for a conical clamping connection, which are screwed together by a union nut while one is inserted in the other, wherein each connection part has a conical sealing surface that contacts the other in a sealing manner and wherein an annular groove is provided in one of the sealing surfaces. In order to enable the pipe connection also to conduct a fluid having cycling or varying temperature, the inner of the two connection parts has thermal insulation on the inside of the pipe at least in the axial segment of the sealing surface of the connection part, wherein the thermal insulation tube has a cam or a collar on the outer surface, which engages in a recess, which is axially bounded by the two connection parts.

LOCKABLE CONNECTION BETWEEN TUBULAR MEMBERS

An embodiment includes a spool that may expand and contract to ease removal and addition of components to an oilfield manifold. The spool may comprise: a first conduit to couple to a first flange via a first ring joint gasket; a second conduit to couple to a second flange via a second ring joint gasket, the second conduit including threads; a third conduit coupled to the first and second conduits; and a fourth conduit including threads, the threads of the fourth conduit directly engaging the threads of the second conduit. The first, second, and third conduits collectively form a channel that couples first and second opposing ends of the spool to one another and which includes a long axis. Rotating the fourth conduit about the long axis moves the second conduit linearly along the long axis.

Conduit coupling adapter

A conduit coupling adapter for securing attaching a conduit to an enclosure is disclosed. The conduit coupling adapter generally includes a first end for receiving a conduit and attaching to it via an adhesive, and a second end coupled to the second end comprises threads and is configured for attaching to an enclosure using a locknut.

Pipe joint structure and air conditioner

A pipe joint structure includes: a union; a flare nut that includes a female thread formed at one of axially opposite ends of the flare nut, and a first annular surface formed at the other of the axially opposite ends of the flare nut; a cylindrical sleeve that houses the flare nut such that the flare nut can be rotate and moved forward and backward; a rotary ring that has a second annular surface located to face the first annular surface, and is attached to the sleeve such that the rotary ring can be rotated for the union; and a pressing member that presses the flare nut toward the rotary ring. At the second annular surface, a claw is formed in such a manner as to protrude towards the flare nut. The first annular surface includes an engagement surface that is formed in such a manner to face one side in a circumferential direction and a helically inclined surface that is adjacent to the engagement surface in the circumferential direction and formed helically in such a way as to incline and face the opposite side of the one side in the circumferential direction.

Locking collar quick union connection

A locking collar quick union connection comprises a split ring and a locking collar sub assembly. The locking collar sub assembly includes a collar, a locking ring, and a locking screw. The locking ring includes outer threads that engage inner threads formed on a larger inner diameter portion of the collar. The split ring includes outer threads that engage inner threads formed on a smaller inner diameter portion of the collar. The locking screw rotationally locks the locking ring to the locking collar.

Plastic union with integral locking structure

A plastic pipe union has an integral locking mechanism which is activated when nut member of the union is sufficiently tightened to the threads of an adjoining male nipple. The nut member and the tail piece of the plastic union each have matching engagement surfaces, where each engagement surface has a scalloped profile. Once sufficiently tightened, tactile feedback is provided to a personal manually tightening the nut member, indicating that the scalloped structures of the opposing engagement surfaces have interacted and reached a locked configuration.
