Fluid conduits with selectively coated surfaces

A fluid conduit system a first conduit section having a first conduit bore extending from a first end of the first conduit section to a second end of the first conduit section, the first conduit bore including a first beveled surface proximate the first end of the first conduit section. The fluid system also includes a second conduit section coupled to the first conduit section and having a second conduit bore extending from a first end of the second conduit section to a second end of the second conduit section, the second conduit bore including a second beveled surface proximate the first end of the second conduit section. The fluid system further includes a coating applied to the first beveled surface and to the second beveled surface.

A pipe union assembly that includes a female end of a first pipe section and a male end of a second pipe section. The pipe union assembly also includes a quick union nut securable to the female end, a retainer collar securable to the quick union nut and a segmented load ring disposed between the male end of the second pipe section and the quick union nut. The quick union nut, the retainer collar and the segmented load ring cooperate to maintain the male end of the second pipe section inside the female end of the first pipe section. A method of using the pipe union assembly to join a first pipe section and a second pipe section.

Nut for joining conduits

A nut for joining conduits includes a body having a generally cylindrical shape and defining a central opening. A plurality of lugs can extend outwardly from an outer surface of the body and provide one or more strike surfaces. The central opening can include a threaded portion proximate a first end of the nut and a tapered portion extending from the threaded portion. The tapered portion defines a frustoconical surface that expands the central opening beyond the threaded portion. The tapered portion may terminate at an undercut or flange proximate the second end of the nut.

Apparatuses, devices, systems, and methods are described that provide fluid flow connectors. An example fluid flow connector includes a first connector body that defines a first inner bore and a first plurality of outer bores. The example connector further includes a second connector body that defines a second inner bore and a second plurality of outer bores. In an operational configuration in which the first connector body is attached to the second connector body, the first inner bore mates with the second inner bore to form a first fluid channel, and each of the first plurality of outer bores mate with a respective one of the second plurality of outer bores to form a second fluid channel. The example connector further includes a sealing mechanism that, in the operational configuration, seals the first fluid channel from the second fluid channel and seal the second fluid channel from an external environment of the fluid flow connector.

COMPRESSION FITTING WITH VISUAL TORQUE INDICATOR

A tubing nut fastener having elements that are partially rotatable with respect to each other. In between the rotatable elements, engagement members (e.g., balls) are captured within interior channels. The partially rotatable elements include permanent markings or other non-removable visual indicators, which varies spatially depending on whether the tubing nut fastener is in a torqued state or an un-torqued state, thereby providing a visual indication of the status of the tubing nut fastener.

FLUID PIPELINE CONNECTION DEVICE, FLUID PIPELINE CONNECTION ASSEMBLY, AND FLUID PIPELINE CONNECTION MECHANISM

A fluid pipeline connection device includes a fixed base, a floating piece, a connecting tube, and a plurality of elastic bodies. The fixed base includes a first side surface and a second side surface opposite to each other. The floating piece abuts against the first side surface and the second side surface. The connecting tube passes through the first side surface and the second side surface of the fixed base, and the connecting tube is combined with the floating piece. The elastic bodies are disposed in the fixed base, and the elastic bodies are in contact with the connecting tube.

No contact connectors

A coupling body having an opening and configured to receive a pipe in the opening. The coupling body is made of a metal material and the pipe is made of a different metal material to the metal material of the coupling body. An insulating sleeve lines at least a portion of an inner periphery of the coupling body adjacent the opening. The insulating sleeve is made of non-metallic material and is configured to serve as a physical non-metallic barrier between the metal material of the coupling and the different metal material of the pipe so the different metal material of the pipe does not contact the metallic material of the coupling body.

A diesel exhaust fluid transfer circuit providing a fluid transfer connector for securely connecting a port fitting of a diesel exhaust fluid device to a diesel exhaust fluid hose. The fluid transfer connector comprises an attachment nut attachable to a port fitting of the diesel exhaust fluid device. The fluid transfer connector further comprises a hose adapter including a fluid conduit and an annular wiper seal coaxially aligned with the fluid conduit. With the attachment nut attached to the port fitting, the fluid conduit is slidable over the port fitting and connectable to the attachment nut, and the annular wiper seal wipes any residue on the port fitting as the fluid conduit is slid over the port fitting.

Split Coupler For Pipes

A split coupler, and methods of making and using such a split coupler, whereby the split coupler includes a first semi-cylindrical member, a second semi-cylindrical member, and an interlocking assembly configured to interlock the first and second semi-cylindrical members to form a substantially cylindrical coupler having a coupler inner surface which defines a throughbore. Additionally, the split coupler can include spiral threads coupled to the coupler inner surface. Furthermore, the split coupler can include a flange inwardly extending from the coupler inner surface.
