EXTERIOR FIRE SUPPRESSING SYSTEM
An exterior fire suppressing system includes a flagpole that has a bottom end and an upper end. The flagpole has a height above a ground surface that is greater than 10.0 feet when the bottom end of the flagpole is anchored in the ground surface. A halyard is mounted on the flagpole and engages a flag to raise and lower the flag on the pole. The flagpole has a conduit therein for transporting a fluid. The conduit has an inlet positioned adjacent to the bottom end and an outlet adjacent to the upper end. A water sprinkler is mounted on the flagpole and is fluidly coupled to the outlet. The water sprinkler is rotatable and disperses water in an arcuate pattern extending outwardly from the flagpole wherein the flagpole defines an axis of the arcuate pattern of dispersed water. A hose connector is fluidly mounted to the inlet.
Wall-Mounted Spray Head Unit
A wall-mountable spray head unit for delivering a fire suppressant liquid is disclosed. The spray head unit includes a rotatable spray head assembly having a spray manifold rotatable about a first axis, and a spray nozzle supported by the spray manifold and orientated to deliver fire-suppressant material radially in a plane defined by the first axis and a second axis which is perpendicular to the first axis. The spray head unit also includes one or more fire-locating sensors including a visible-light camera, a microphone, or both.

Fluid delivery device
Fluid delivery systems and methods for using fluid delivery systems are rotatable around two axes. In one embodiment, the fluid delivery system has a reduced swing radius and/or a reduced clearance area needed to rotate the fluid delivery device about one of the axes. The reduced swing radius and/or reduced clearance area allow for a more compact footprint of the fluid delivery system and a larger ratio of flow rate of fluid per unit of required clearance area.
