Luer connector including a primary Luer male connector, having a secondary female section extending from a top distal part of the primary Luer male connector back towards a proximal part thereof, the primary Luer male connector including a first inner fluid flow channel extending from a proximal end thereof to the secondary female section, the primary Luer male connector being configured to mate with a primary Luer female connector having a secondary male section including a second inner fluid flow channel.

A gasket for preventing the separation of a pipe joint formed between plastic pipes such as pipes manufactured from PVC. The invention provides an internally restrained pipe joint including a bell with a substantially V-shaped annular groove. The annular groove includes a front radial wall and a rear radial wall and a gasket seated in the annular groove. The gasket includes an inner radial face, an opening defined by the inner radial face and an outer radial face with a front radial section located adjacent to the front radial wall of the annular groove and a rear radial section located adjacent to the rear radial wall of the annular groove. A plurality of toothed, rigid restraining segments is at least partially embedded in the gasket.

Spigot device including a spigot formed with exterior gripping teeth and sleeve device to telescope over the spigot. The sleeve device is formed with a radially inwardly opening, distally contracting conical bearing surface which mounts a radially inwardly contractible gripper ring device captive therein, and constructed to be driven radially inwardly by the bearing surface as the sleeve is drawn proximally on the spigot to grip a plastic pipe trapped in the annulus between the sleeve and spigot.

The steps of selecting a spigot device including a distally projecting spigot of a predetermined outside diameter. Selecting a sleeve device formed with a radially inwardly opening interior retainer collar with an interior distally extending and radially and inwardly sloped bearing surface defining a gripper ring cavity. Selecting a gripper ring device which is contractible radially inwardly and inserting in the cavity and retaining the gripper ring device in the cavity to cooperate with the outside diameter to form an annulus for receipt of the plastic pipe and causing the gripper ring device to grip the pipe.

Spigot device including a spigot formed with exterior gripping teeth and sleeve device to telescope over the spigot. The sleeve device is formed with a radially inwardly opening, distally contracting conical bearing surface which mounts a radially inwardly contractible gripper ring device captive therein, and constructed to be driven radially inwardly by the bearing surface as the sleeve is drawn proximally on the spigot to grip a plastic pipe trapped in the annulus between the sleeve and spigot. The method includes selecting a sleeve device to fit over a spigot and an interfitting retainer collar with an interior distally extending and radially and inwardly sloped bearing surface defining a gripper ring cavity. Selecting a gripper ring device which is contractible radially inwardly and inserting it in the cavity and retaining the gripper ring device to cooperate in forming an annulus for receipt of a plastic pipe and causing the gripper ring device to grip the pipe.

A connector comprises: a connector body comprising an inlet end and an outlet end with a bore extending therethrough, the connector body further comprising a leading end portion positioned at the inlet end and a threaded portion at the outlet end of the connector body and a connector main body portion positioned between the leading end portion and the threaded portion; a generally annular bearing case having a tapered surface positioned in the leading end portion of the connector body, the bearing case formed with at least one recess and wherein the tapered surface has a hollow portion therein and includes a bearing case axis; and at least one locking element positioned in the at least one recess of the bearing case and movable along the bearing case axis.

A subassembly for a conduit fitting includes a first ferrule and a second ferrule alignable relative to an axis. The first ferrule includes a camming surface at a back portion thereof, and the second ferrule includes a surface that contacts the camming surface when the first ferrule and the second ferrule are axially moved together along the axis. A retaining structure retains the first ferrule and the second ferrule together as a subassembly, and includes a flange extending radially outward and axially rearward from the back portion of the first ferrule to define an outer diameter recess. The flange includes an end portion that extends radially inward to define an inner diameter recess retaining a forward portion of the second ferrule. The outer diameter recess and the inner diameter recess together define a hinge portion of the flange.

A block fitting and seal structure for an air conditioning system includes a male block fitting and a female block fitting. The male block fitting includes an axially extending protuberant portion. A distal end of the protuberant portion has a tapered portion formed thereon. A female block fitting includes a recessed portion with a tapered portion formed therein. The tapered portion of the female block fitting is configured to engage the tapered portion of the male block fitting. An annular seal is disposed between the male block fitting and the female block fitting. The seal provides an axial seal and a radial seal between the male block fitting and the female block fitting.

A split T-shaped pipe serving as a housing device and comprising: an annular case body that has a split part in at least one location in the circumferential direction, and that surrounds the outer circumferential surface of a water pipe in a sealed state with a seal material therebetween; and fasteners for tightening the split part, thereby joining a plurality of split pieces constituting the case body. Joining surfaces are provided at the circumferential end portions of the split pieces, and protrusions protruding along the circumferential direction are formed on the joining surfaces but only at both end portions of the case body in the pipe axis direction of the water pipe.

A pipe joint having a compound locking ring is disclosed herein. The pipe joint bell has a a segment cavity into which ring segments may be inserted through a slot on the face or outer surface of the bell end of a first pipe. The locking ring has multiple ring segments, each segment having an arcuate outer surface. The outer surface may be a compound surface of multiple arcs.

A grooved joint adapter includes a cylindrical body having an insertion port formed in one end, a groove formed in an outer peripheral surface of the other end, a guide portion formed on an interior thereof, first coupling portions on both outer surfaces thereof, and a fixing portion protruding from an inner peripheral surface thereof. A pipe socket has second coupling portions on both outer surfaces and a protrusion formed on one surface. A pressure ring is disposed on an insertion port side and has both ends separated from each other. A stopper ring is disposed inside of the guide portion, and has both ends separated from each other and one or more wedge sawteeth on an inner peripheral surface. A rubber ring is disposed inside of the cylindrical body, and has an uneven portion on an inner peripheral surface and a stopper portion protruding inward.
