In the present invention, a pipe joint has housing parts as a housing obtained by dividing the housing into three parts in a circumferential direction. The first housing part has connecting parts. The second, third housing parts have connecting parts, respectively. Connecting parts are provided to be detachably mutually connected by fastening with tightening members, at end parts protruding outward from vicinities of an inner peripheral surface with a sealing member arranged in sides opposite to sides of the first housing part.

A pipe coupling for coupling a first pipe to a second pipe wherein a gap exists between a first pipe end and a second pipe end. The pipe coupling includes a tubular insert configured to fit within the gap and match an inside diameter and outside diameter of the pipes, thereby providing a through-butt joint between the insert and the pipes. The pipe coupling also includes a half-tubular first fitting section and a half-tubular second fitting section, configured to snap-lock and form a tubular shape over the insert, the first pipe end and the second pipe end. In some embodiments, the insert is integral with the fitting sections.

Coupling having rotation limited segments
11624461 · 2023-04-11 · ·

A pipe coupling has two segments with angularly oriented action surfaces in facing relationship. The action surfaces induce relative rotation between the segments when the segments are drawn together to engage the pipe elements being joined. Attachment elements on each segment, in the form of lugs, accommodate adjustable fasteners which draw the segments together when tightened. Angularly oriented support surfaces on the lugs engage one another and react the fastener force. Stop surfaces are positioned on the lugs adjacent to the support surfaces. Engagement between the stop surfaces limits the relative rotation between the segments.

HOUSING TYPE PIPE JOINT

A casing constituting a housing type pipe joint is divided into an inner casing which externally fits to a sealing member to restrain a shape of a sealing member and an outer casing which is prepared outside the inner casing, engages with a pair of tubular members with their tube ends opposing each other inside the sealing member and presses the inner casing against the sealing member, these inner and outer casings being constituted by plural segments, each of which is formed as an integrated object from a metal plate, and a plate thickness of the inner casing is equal to or larger than a plate thickness of the outer casing. Thereby, a housing type pipe joint which can achieve both a function to restrain a shape of a sealing member and a function to engage tubular members at a sufficiently high level and is compact and lightweight is provided.

Pump adapter

The present embodiments provide an adapter which may be utilized with traditional in-tank fuel pumps to convert the pump from a first style to a second, alternative style. The instant embodiment utilizes an adapter which slides on the end of an existing fuel pump type and provides indexing for proper alignment and fuel communication. The adapter also allows connection of alternate type of port or fitting in order to allow connection with more desirable type of fuel pickup system. The adapter is then clamped onto the end of the pump once the adapter and pump are indexed to proper alignment for sealing and fuel communication. The adapter may also include a coupling for a fitting to connect additional fuel delivery and/or filtration parts to the pump.

NON-METALLIC FLUID COUPLING

A non-metallic fluid coupling is disclosed with electrical current transferring elements incorporated therein. The coupling is formed of two C-shaped halves of non-metal, non-conducting material, where each halve includes integral hinges and latches, or hinges and latches made of a common material with the C-shaped halves. A non-metallic, substantially rigid sealing sleeve can be incorporated into the coupling to seal the coupling while maintaining the strength of the coupling.

Component connector for connecting cylindrical components

Component connector for connecting cylindrical components includes an elastic sleeve which surrounds the components, the elastic sleeve can be braced, a radially deformable fixing sleeve is provided which encloses elastic sleeve. Elastic sleeve is braced via radial deformation of fixing sleeve in a perpendicular direction to a longitudinal axis of fixing sleeve, and at least one clamping ring is provided for radially deforming fixing sleeve. Fixing sleeve has a profiled outer wall and clamping ring has an oppositely profiled inner wall so clamping ring can be pushed concentrically onto fixing sleeve in an accurately fitting manner, during a relative rotation of clamping ring, placed in an accurately fitting manner, in a closing direction, the fixing sleeve can be deformed radially inwardly by the surface profiling; and, during a relative rotation of clamping ring counter to the closing direction, the surface profiling prevents any rotation.
