FLANGE JOINT ASSEMBLY FOR USE IN A GAS TURBINE ENGINE
A flange joint assembly includes a first structure including a first flange and a second structure including a second flange coupled to the first flange to form a joint therebetween. The second flange includes a radially outer surface. The flange joint assembly also includes a compression ring coupled to at least the radially outer surface and configured to apply a compressive force to the radially outer surface to reduce an amount of tension stress within said second flange.
Breakaway coupling
There is provided a breakaway coupling between two lines. The first coupling half possesses an opened jaw, which is formed by catch pieces of the short lever arms of dual-arm catch levers, which are pre-stressed in the closing direction by compression springs, and in this way engage behind oblique surfaces of an end flange of the second coupling half. When a predetermined pulling force on the lines is exceeded, the breakaway coupling disengages.

FEEDER DUCT ASSEMBLY WITH FLEXIBLE END FITTINGS
A feeder duct assembly for a gas turbine engine, which negates the need for a ball or axial joint in the duct for required for flexibility under thermal loading. The feeder duct assembly of the present innovation comprises an end fitting designed to meet flexibility requirements without compromising dynamic performance of the system with added weight from ball or axial joints in the ducts.
Separation preventing device of fluid pipe, and pipe joint
A separation preventing device that prevents separation of a fluid pipe in a pipe axis direction, includes a main body externally fitted to an outer peripheral surface of the fluid pipe and has a recess portion facing the outer peripheral surface; a locking member housed in the recess portion in a tiltable manner and is able to bite into the outer peripheral surface of the fluid pipe; a pressing member provided in the main body member and presses the locking member so as to bite into the outer peripheral surface of the fluid pipe; and an interposition member interposed between the locking member and the pressing member, wherein the interposition member is equipped with a tapered surface coming into contact with an outer surface of the locking member, and is housed in the recess portion in a state of having an acceptable movement value of a predetermined width in the pipe axis direction of the fluid pipe.
