Double wall tube fitting with an integrated diagnostic port
A fitting for attaching to double wall tubes includes a body, a fitting center port, an outer seal, a tube connection, a pad connection, an inner seal, a groove, and a diagnostic port. The body has a first surface on a first side of the body and a second surface on a second side of the body. The fitting center port extends through the body for passing a primary fluid flow. The tube connection is on the first side of the fitting, and includes an inner connection and an outer connection. The groove is in the second surface surrounding the inner seal and the groove is configured to receive an outer seal. The diagnostic port is in the second surface for transferring a collected fluid through the body to the outer connection.
Flexible coupling with rotational capability
A coupling includes a body with two ends and a bore. Each end section includes a rotatable connection and a convolution, and there is a bent elbow section between the end sections.
COMPOSITE TO METAL JOINT AND METHOD FOR FORMING SAME
A composite pipe to metal fitting joint including a shell formed with a conical cavity receiving a tapered end of a composite tube for bonded therein. The method includes selecting the metal fitting of a composite tube and bonding together.
Locking device for pipes
A locking device for pipes, comprising an inner and an outer pipe provided with adjoining and corresponding circumferential grooves for releasable locking engagement via a locking ring fitted in the grooves and thus releasable locking between the inner and the outer pipe by alteration of the radius of the locking ring, wherein the locking ring has an open section or circle sector along the periphery thereof and is provided, at least at the two radial ends thereof, interrupted by the open section, with two respective guide members comprising respective guide surfaces that are slanted relative to the periphery, and wherein a first one of the guide members is provided with an end stop and a second one of the guide members is provided with a control mechanism protruding through an oblong opening provided through the outer pipe along a portion of its radial groove, wherein the radial displacement of the control mechanism along the oblong opening increases the open section or circle sector of the locking ring while simultaneously forcing the radius of the locking ring to increase for release of the locking engagement owing to the slanted guide surfaces.
Adaptive air intake sealing joint
An adaptive air intake joint for an internal combustion engine comprising a molded elastomeric duct body having standing ribs constructed and arranged to provide a continuous and sufficient contact force across the face of a joint of an adjoining duct body. A clamp secured to the duct causes the ribs to provide a continuous and sufficient contact force across a seal surface, eliminating the need for constant tension clamp and improving the air intake joint seal to prevent leakage that is especially common in cold environments.
COMPOSITE DRILL PIPE AND METHOD FOR FORMING SAME
A composite torque pipe to metal fitting joint including concentric inner and outer shells formed with respective smooth annular surfaces projecting distally to form an annulus of a predetermined configuration for receipt of a composite connector ring of the predetermined configuration.
Push-to-connect joint assembly with protective shield device and method
Embodiments of a push fitting joint packaging arrangement include a sealing member, a fastening ring, a retaining ring member and a shield member. In various embodiments, the shield member has a substantially cylindrical interior surface, and a non-cylindrical exterior surface.
COMPOSITE DRILL PIPE
A metal to composite tube joint including an elongated interior fitting constructed with an exterior barrel, reduced in exterior diameter to form a distally facing annular shoulder and then projecting still further distally to form an interior sleeve having a radially outwardly facing bonding surface. An elongated metal outer sleeve formed proximally with a collar constructed for receipt over the barrel and increased in interior diameter and projecting distally to form an exterior sleeve having a radially inwardly facing bonding surface cooperating with the first bonding surface to form an annulus receiving an extremity of a composite tube and a bond bonding the extremity of the tube to the bonding surfaces.
Method of making a composite tube to metal joint
A method for making a metal to composite tube joint including selecting an elongated interior fitting constructed with an exterior barrel, reduced in exterior diameter to form a distally facing annular shoulder and then projecting still further distally to form an interior sleeve having a radially outwardly facing bonding surface. Selecting an elongated metal outer sleeve formed proximally with a collar constructed for receipt over the barrel and increased in interior diameter and projecting distally to form an exterior sleeve having a radially inwardly facing bonding surface cooperating with the first bonding surface to form an annulus receiving an extremity of a composite tube and a bond bonding the extremity of the tube to the bonding surfaces.
COMPOSITE TUBE TO METAL JOINT APPARATUS
A metal to composite tube joint including selecting an elongated interior fitting constructed with an exterior barrel, reduced in exterior diameter to form a distally facing annular shoulder and then projecting still further distally to form an interior sleeve having a radially outwardly facing bonding surface. A metal outer sleeve formed proximally with a collar constructed for receipt over the barrel and increased in interior diameter and projecting distally to form an exterior sleeve having a radially inwardly facing bonding surface cooperating with the first bonding surface to form an annulus receiving an extremity of a composite tube and a bond bonding the extremity of the tube to the bonding surfaces.
