CONNECTION PIECE FOR CONNECTING A HOSE TO A FLUID OUTLET
20210041046 · 2021-02-11 ·

A connection piece for connecting a surface-structured end of a hose extending along a longitudinal direction to a fluid outlet is disclosed, which end comprises at least one recess in its surface, with a sealing space into which the end of the hose can be introduced. A sealing material is arranged in the sealing space, which is sufficiently fluidizable in a first processing state so that a part of the sealing material present in the sealing space can flow into the recess when the end of the hose has been pushed in, and can be hardened in a second processing state.

Termination for Sheathed Tubing with Leak Containment and Detection Provisions

A fitting for an end of a length of corrugated tubing with an outer sheath includes an engagement ring for gripping the tubing adjacent to an endmost corrugation of the tubing to preclude axial displacement of the retainer on the tubing. The fitting also includes an end plug having at least one threaded surface and a hollow cylindrical part sized to admit and engage with the engagement ring. The end fitting also includes a nut having a threaded portion complementary with the threaded surface of the end plug and an inner surface that defines an inner cavity. An annular groove extends from the inner surface. A vent extends through the sidewall and is disposed between the threaded surface and the groove. A gasket is disposed in the annular groove and a portion of the gasket extends into the inner cavity and is configured to sealingly engage the sheath.

CORRUGATED PIPING ASSEMBLY AND SLEEVE FOR SAME

A corrugated piping assembly for use in an irrigation system for bridging between different pipe sections and/or irrigation appliances. The assembly has a corrugated pipe section fitted at a rear end to a connector and a sleeve overlaying a region where the pipe section fits over the connector. The sleeve is arranged to press inwards against the pipe section to press it against portions of the connector.

Connection structure for fire extinguishing system piping

In a connection structure for fire extinguishing system piping in which a male piping member is connected to a connection opening portion of a joint by screwing a male thread and a female thread together, the male piping member includes a joint cylinder having a protruding portion that is inserted deeper into the connection opening portion than the female thread. Each male piping member and the connection opening portion includes a step portion. The connection structure further includes an indicator that engages the step portions and in a state in which the male piping member and the connection opening portion are connected together. At least one of the male piping member and the connection opening portion includes an unmountable portion that has an outside diameter different from an inside diameter of the indicator and cannot be engaged by the indicator.

Duct coupler for use with ducts in a wet joint of segmental concrete construction

A duct coupling system has a first concrete segment, a first duct positioned in the first concrete segment so as to have an end extending outwardly therefrom, a second concrete segment, a second duct positioned in the second concrete segment so as to have an end extending outwardly therefrom in a direction toward the end of the first duct, and a tubular member slidably positioned over the ends of the first and second ducts so as to join the first and second ducts together in a liquid-tight relationship. The first concrete segment is positioned in spaced relation to the second concrete segment. A wet joint is formed in the space between the first concrete segment and the second concrete segment. The tubular member is embedded in the wet joint.

One aspect of the invention provides an elastomeric bushing including: a plurality of rigid members defining one or more internal annular ribs and one or more elastic members. The rigid members include: a first internal annular rib adapted and configured to engage a corrugation valley of corrugated tubing; and one or more trailing lips adapted and configured to extend through a central opening of a nut and engage said nut, thereby preventing axial movement of the bushing when a corrugated tubing is advancing through the bushing. The one or more elastic members are adapted and configured to: hold the plurality of rigid members in a substantially annular configuration; allow the plurality of rigid members to expand to allow a corrugation peak to pass under the first internal rib; and hold the plurality of rigid members against the corrugated tubing so that the first internal rib lies within a corrugation valley.
