The disclosure relates to a mechanical seal for sealing a fluid-conducting channel and/or space extending in a stationary component and/or a rotating component from the environment, having a slide ring which is supported in the axial direction against a counter ring in a sealing manner and, to compensate for wear on its front-end seal face or on a counter face, is supported against the counter ring elastically and movably in the axial direction with this seal face; having a position sensor to detect the position of the slide ring in the axial direction. The disclosure is characterized in that a temperature sensor is provided on a leakage side of the seal face facing away from the channel and/or space, which sensor at least indirectly detects a temperature which is dependent on the magnitude of a leakage flow passing from the channel and/or space via the seal face.

According to one aspect thereof, there is provided a nozzle installation jig including: a lower plate configured to make contact with a process vessel in a vicinity of a lower end opening of the process vessel in which a nozzle is provided; a frame fixed to the lower plate and extending upward with respect to the lower plate; an upper plate fixed to the frame and provided with a sensor configured to detect a position of the nozzle in the process vessel; and a notification device configured to transmit a notification to an operator according to a detection result of the sensor.

A fitting has a first housing including a first body and a second body. The first body defines a first channel and a second channel, and second body defines a third channel that is co-planar with the first channel and a fourth channel that is co-planar with the first channel. First bearings are disposed within the first channel and the third channel, where the first bearings rotatably coupled the first housing to the second housing. Additionally, second bearings are disposed within the second channel and the fourth channel, the second bearings rotatably coupling the first housing to the second housing. A connector assembly for connection of two tubular members without rotation. The assembly includes the pin end of a first tubular member stabbed within the connector end of a second tubular member. A connector nut is threadedly connected or snap locked to the connector end of the second tubular member. The connector nut includes a retaining shoulder cooperating with a beveled shoulder on the pin end of the first tubular member to retain the first tubular member. The assembly includes seals to provide pressure integrity and prevent leaking. Cooperating rotational torque transfer profiles in the first and second tubular members enable operational rotation of the tubular string.

Fluid transfer coupling

A coupling for conveying a fluid between a stationary part and a rotatable part having confronting ports centered on a rotation axis of the rotatable part has an axially extending tube fixed in the port of one of the parts and extending toward the port of the other of the parts and a control element axially slidable on the tube. The one part, the tube, and the control element form an annular chamber around the tube pressurizable for axially shifting the control element. A first slide ring is connected to the control element and carries a seal ring turned toward the port of the other part, and a second ring on the other part at the port thereof axially bears on the first slide ring so that pressurization of chamber presses the slide rings axially against each other.
