Fuel tank fueling portion structure
A fuel tank fueling portion structure includes: a fueling pipe that is in fluid communication with a fuel tank, the fueling pipe being provided with a fueling opening; a lid that is openably and closably provided at a vehicle body, the lid in a closed state covering the fueling opening from a vehicle body outer side; an on-off valve that is provided at a flow channel inside the fueling pipe and closes off the flow channel, the on-off valve opening up the flow channel when pressed by the fueling nozzle; and a valve retention device that is provided in the fueling pipe, the valve retention device retaining an open state of the on-off valve that has been opened by pressing from the fueling nozzle, and releasing the retention of the open state of the on-off valve when the lid goes into a closed state.

Device for connecting or filling and method
A valve comprises a shell, a flexible valve member sealingly mounted within the shell, and a valve body mounted atop the flexible valve member within the shell. The flexible member is moveable between closed and open positions to allow the flow of fluid therethrough. The valve is engageable with a filling device having flow ports and a surrounding closure. The closure and/or the shaft is movable between (i) a first position wherein the closure closes the port(s), and (ii) a second position opening the port(s). Alternatively, the valve may comprise a portion of a female connector and the filling device may comprise a portion of a male connector to form an aseptic fluid connector for the aseptic transfer of fluid therethrough.

MAGNETIC FLUID CONNECTOR
Example implementations relate to a magnetic fluid connector. For example, a magnetic fluid connector can include a magnet, an internal fluid path defined by a first portion and a second portion when the first portion and the second portion are coupled together, and a movable member that is movable to seal the internal fluid path, where the magnet provides at least a portion of a force sufficient to seal the internal fluid path.
Valve for an aircraft
A valve for connecting an external tank to an aircraft has a valve body; and a seal assembly arranged, in use, to resiliently engage a seal surface on an aircraft. The seal assembly has a telescopic seal member extending from a proximal end within the valve body to a distal end. The telescopic seal member is constrained within the valve body so as to maintain axial alignment of the telescopic seal member and the valve body. The seal assembly may also have a seal carrier at the distal end of the telescopic seal member. The seal carrier may be pivotable relative to the telescopic seal member for alignment, in use, with the aircraft seal surface.

SELF SEALING END FITTING
A self-sealing end fitting includes a valve, an adaptor, and a connector. The valve may define a longitudinal axis and may include a first end portion, a second end portion, a flange disposed therebetween, and a central bore. The adaptor may have a first end portion surrounding at least the second end portion of the valve, and the connector may surround at least the first end portion of the valve. A portion of the connector, a portion of the flange, and a portion of the first end portion of the adaptor may define a pocket. The valve may be configured to move axially relative to the adaptor. In embodiments, a sealing surface of the flange may contact a corresponding sealing surface of the first end portion of the adaptor to form a first seal within the pocket, and the first seal may comprise a metal-to-metal seal.

HYDRAULIC BICYCLE SYSTEM
A normally closed port valve seals a hydraulic hose connection port of a hydraulic bicycle component. Connection of an end of a hydraulic hose assembly to the port opens the valve, placing the assembly's hydraulic fluid chamber in fluid communication with the interior of the hose assembly. A hydraulic cylinder of the assembly is in fluid communication with the chamber. A spring may be used to bias the valve to a closed condition and simultaneously to bias a brake actuating piston to a non-actuated position.
