Safety System for High Pressure Conduits
20200271259 · 2020-08-27 ·

A fluid delivery system having a safety system with interchangeable parts. Also a safety system having a conduit specifically designed to withstand ultra high-pressure fluids exceeding 24,000 psi.

ENHANCED HOSE FITTING AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY

A hose fitting (10) includes a nipple (12) with a first end that is insertable into a hose and a second opposite end (22), nipple mating threads (38) located between the first (18) and second ends (22), and a shoulder (42) located between the mating threads and the second end (22) and that projects radially outward relative to the nipple (12) mating threads. A nut (16) is positioned over the second end (22) of the nipple (12). A shell (14) is positioned over the first end of the nipple (12) and includes shell mating threads (48), wherein the shell is threaded onto the nipple (12) by a threaded connection of the nipple mating threads (38) and the shell mating threads (48). The shoulder (42) operates to prevent further rotation of the shell (14), and the resulting torque locks the shell (14) in place and provides a seal against leakage from the fitting assembly. The nipple (12) includes a planar surface (40) that extends from the mating threads (38) to a second planar surface (26) that meet to form the shoulder (42).

Sprinkler Sleeve Attachment
20200230637 · 2020-07-23 ·

A sprinkler sleeve attachment for easily installing or replacing an in-ground sprinkler head when needed. The sprinkler sleeve attachment includes a tubular, rigid body having an open upper end and an open, tapered lower end. The sprinkler sleeve attachment further includes an internal connection member and an external connection member wherein the internal connection member is a threaded male adaption for receiving a sprinkler head thereon in liquid communication and the external connection member is a threaded female adaption disposed on the open lower end configured to receive an end of a water connection hose therein. A plurality of stabilizing fins extends orthogonally outward from an exterior surface of the tubular body wherein the stabilizing fins are oriented along a longitudinal axis thereof.

Long ferrule
10711927 · 2020-07-14 · ·

A ferrule includes a flange and an elongated sleeve extending from the flange. The flange and the elongated sleeve define a bore, which is configured to receive a length of flexible tubing. The elongated sleeve is configured to hold the flexible tubing within the bore via friction. For example, the elongated sleeve is configured to hold the flexible tubing within the bore without compressing the flexible tubing. In this manner, flow through the flexible tubing may be unrestricted. In some embodiments, a distance of flexible tubing contacted by the elongated sleeve is sufficient to hold the flexible tubing within the elongated sleeve without tightly holding or compressing the flexible tubing. This configuration can prevent narrow tubing from becoming blocked and/or the tubing bore can remain smooth (e.g., for accurate mixing, constant fluid flow, and so forth).

HOSE ENDING, MAINLY AS CONNECTING ELEMENT

Hose has a body (3) and a mouthpiece (1) connected with the body (3). The mouthpiece (1) is slidably placed against the body (3); it is designed for mounting of the end of the hose and it has a thickening (2). The ending has a circumferential stop (4) placed in the axis of the mouthpiece (1), whereby the stop (4) has on its circumference a touch surface which is oriented inside, against the thickening (2) on the mouthpiece (1). The mouthpiece (1) can be sealed by sealing ring (7) against the body (3), whereby the ring (7) is placed in the sealing zone (9), or the mouthpiece (1) can be connected with the body (3) by a flexible bellow. During the movement of the mouthpiece (1) outside the touch surface of the stop (4) and the outer surface of the hose in the zone with the thickening (2) draw closer and the hose is held on the mouthpiece (1) by the underpressure between the surface of the stop (4) and the thickening (2). The increasing pressure in the hose increases the underpressure of the hose on the mouthpiece (1 ) which increases the sealing effect of the joint.

A pipe joint includes a joint body formed with a through hole therein along an axial direction, and having male threads and an extending shaft portion formed on one end side thereof; and a nut member formed with an insertion hole through which a tube member is inserted, and having female threads formed therein that screw-engage with the male threads. Annular projections are formed on an outer circumferential surface of the extending shaft portion, and the tube member, which is expanded in diameter, is gripped between the annular projections and an inner circumferential surface of the nut member.
