20220205443 · 2022-06-30 ·

A tubing assembly is provided that can comprise a plurality of tubes or lumens that can be disposed within a head of a peristaltic pump. The tubing assembly can provide a flow rate or volume capacity that is generally equal to or greater than that achieved with a comparable prior art tube while operating at higher pressures than that possible using the prior art tube. Further, in accordance with some embodiments, the tubing assembly can achieve a longer working life than a comparable prior art tube, and the load on the pump motor can be reduced such that the pump life is increased and/or a larger pump motor is not required to achieve such advantageous results.

SPIGOT TUBE COUPLER WITH BONDING AGENT GROOVE

Spigot tube couplers for fluid flow sets and devices are provided. The spigot tube coupler includes a stop surface and a spigot extending from the stop surface and configured to be inserted into a tube. The spigot includes an insertion end, a fluid port, an outer surface and a plurality of grooves disposed around the outer surface. The plurality of grooves are configured to receive a bonding agent to provide a plurality of bonding areas between the spigot and the tube. Methods for assembling a spigot tube coupler and a tube are also provided.

A tubing junction assembly may include a body, and a collar coupled to the body. The body may include a head portion, a base portion, and an intermediate portion. At least a portion of an outer surface of the body at the intermediate portion may define a cross-sectional width that tapers from the head portion to the base portion. The collar may have an inner surface defining a passage. A tubing may be stretched over the outer surface of the body with a proximal end portion of the tubing stretched over at least a portion of the outer surface of the body at the intermediate portion. The inner surface of the collar may be sleeved over a portion of the outer surface of the tubing and coupled to the collar such that the proximal end portion of the tubing is sandwiched and compressed between the body and the collar.
