Conduit coupling apparatus and method

A coupling may be configured to receive and secure an insertion end of a conduit. An outer surface of the insertion end of the conduit may be smooth and free of grooves, flanges and beads. A first member of the coupling may define a first passageway. A second member of the coupling may define a second passageway. The first member may be in engagement with the second member. A gripping ring having an inner edge defining a series of teeth may be disposed within the second member. A support ring and O-ring may also be disposed within the second member.

Pipe unit coupling structure

A pipe unit coupling structure includes a first member in which a first hole is formed, a second member including a pipe unit which is coupled to the first member by being inserted into the first hole, and a third member coupled to the second member by a coupling unit. The second member has an inclined surface formed at a tip of the pipe unit. The inclined surface is configured in such a manner that, when the inclined surface is pressed against the first member when the pipe unit of the second member is inserted into the first hole of the first member in a state where the second member and the third member are coupled to each other, a force is applied from the second member to the third member at the coupling unit, in a direction opposite to a direction of separation of the second member.

Connector socket, connector assembly, cooling plate and cooling system including a connector socket

The disclosure relates to a connection arrangement for forming a fluidic connection between a container and a fluid line. A wall element is arranged in or on a container wall of the container and has an opening. A tubular connection element has two sealing surfaces. The connection element has a sealing section at the end which is arranged around the circumference on the connection element and has an axially oriented sealing surface. The connection element has a second sealing surface around the circumference at an end opposite the sealing section. The connection element has a connection section in the region of the first sealing surface for introducing into the opening of the wall element and for connecting to the wall element.

Locking assembly for a measurement system
11105825 · 2021-08-31 · ·

The present disclosure is, in one aspect, directed to a locking assembly for securing a sample tube assembly to a sample manifold of a measurement system. The locking assembly includes a ramp block having one or more slots defined therein and configured to at least partially receive a portion of the sample tube assembly. The ramp block also includes a plurality of surface features defined therealong and configured to engage and move the sample tube assembly toward and into engagement with the sample manifold. The ramp block further is movable between a plurality of positions including an open position for allowing the sample tube assembly to be received through the one or more slots or openings, and a closed position substantially sealing the sample tube assembly against or within the sample manifold. Other aspects also are described.

Filling hose

A liquid dispenser filling hose for use in filling a liquid dispenser with liquid from a liquid reservoir via a pump, comprising: a distal coupler for coupling the filling hose to the liquid dispenser; and a controller arranged to control the pump. The liquid dispenser may be filled using a method comprising: providing a liquid reservoir, a pump and a controller arranged to control the pump, and a filling hose having a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end of the filling hose being coupled to the liquid reservoir; coupling the distal end of the filling hose via a distal coupler to the liquid dispenser; and transferring liquid from the liquid reservoir via the filling hose to an airless liquid container forming part of the liquid dispenser. A system for filling a liquid dispenser, comprising: the liquid filling hose; and a liquid reservoir and/or liquid supply station is also described.

FUEL DRAIN ENGAGEMENT TOOL

A fuel drain engagement tool and a method for draining fuel from a fuel tank are provided. In one example, a fuel drain engagement tool includes a housing. An engagement mechanism is coupled with the housing and extending upward therefrom. The engagement mechanism is configured to engage a fuel drain valve and to move between a contracted state and an expanded state. A compression applicator is coupled with the housing and is positioned to engage the engagement mechanism when the compression applicator is compressed to apply a force to the engagement mechanism that causes the engagement mechanism to move from the expanded state to the contracted state.

System and method for push-to-connect couplings with integrated filtration
11054074 · 2021-07-06 · ·

A push-to-connect coupling with integrated filtration is disclosed. In one aspect, the coupling comprises a tube support, a collet and a filter element. The coupling may include a seal. The coupling connects to a cavity, which may be a portable fitting. The cavity may be a connection on a separate device or system, such as an air tank or other devices. The filter element may be dome-shaped. The tube support is easily assembled with the cavity, for example by threading, to capture the filter element. The tube is connected to the coupling by pushing the tube over the tube support and through the collet. The collet interacts with a reduced diameter section of the cavity to apply a clamping force from the collet on the tube and secure the tube in place. The tube is easily removed from the cavity simply by pushing the collet farther into the cavity to remove the clamping force on the tube, and then pulling the tube out.
