The application relates to a pipe connection having a pipe end arranged in a connection piece. The pipe connection has an outwardly projecting at least sectionally circumferential bead configured on a pipe end. The connection piece has a radially deformable first connection piece portion creating a first radially deformable connection piece portion. The pipe end is held and secured in the connection piece using the first radially deformable connection piece portion. The application further relates to a heat exchanger with a pipe connection of this kind and a connection method for producing a pipe connection.

PLUG FOR VEHICLE

A plug for a vehicle includes: a body portion; a plurality of insertion portions configured to be inserted into a through-hole provided in a housing; and a flange portion having a notch formed on an outer periphery so as to restrict a rotation of the body portion around an axial center. The insertion portions are formed at two positions opposed to each other across a straight line passing through the notch and the axial center and are provided with retaining lugs engageable with the through-hole.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PUSH-TO-CONNECT COUPLINGS WITH INTEGRATED FILTRATION
20180080589 · 2018-03-22 ·

A push-to-connect coupling with integrated filtration is disclosed. In one aspect, the coupling comprises a tube support, a collet and a filter element. The coupling may include a seal. The coupling connects to a cavity, which may be a portable fitting. The cavity may be a connection on a separate device or system, such as an air tank or other devices. The filter element may be dome-shaped. The tube support is easily assembled with the cavity, for example by threading, to capture the filter element. The tube is connected to the coupling by pushing the tube over the tube support and through the collet. The collet interacts with a reduced diameter section of the cavity to apply a clamping force from the collet on the tube and secure the tube in place. The tube is easily removed from the cavity simply by pushing the collet farther into the cavity to remove the clamping force on the tube, and then pulling the tube out.

Tamper-resistant hydraulic connections

A tamper-resistant hydraulic connection may include a fitting that has a flange, a head, and a central body disposed between the flange and the head. The head may have lobes that protrude radially relative to the central body. The fitting may be inserted into a port where a fluid-tight connection is formed. A central opening of the port includes pockets where the lobes of the head are retained, with the pockets preventing rotation and longitudinal retreat of the lobes. An elastic member disposed on the fitting may be compressed longitudinally between the flange of the fitting and the port. The fitting and the port may be sized and shaped such that assembly of the tamper-resistant hydraulic connection requires pushing the head into the central opening longitudinally past a first radially-extending plane where the pockets are located, rotating the head, and moving the head longitudinally back into the first radially-extending plane.

PASS THROUGH ASSEMBLY CONFIRMATION QUICK CONNECTOR

A quick pipe connector includes a connector body, a sealing ring, a securing ring, an engaging member and a coupling sleeve. The engaging member is arranged to bias against the securing ring and includes a plurality of catching claws. The coupling sleeve includes a main sleeve member and an extension sleeve extending from the main sleeve member to engage with the connector body in such a manner that when a pipe is inserted in the connector body, the extension sleeve, the sealing ring, the securing ring and the engaging member are securely biased and retained between the connector body and the main sleeve. The catching claws are arranged to securely bias against an external surface of the pipe while the extension sleeve is arranged to bias against an external contour of a connecting portion of the connector body.

The present invention is directed toward a fitting assembly for establishing a fluid-tight connection with a pipe, the pipe having an aperture in a sidewall thereof, an inner surface, and an outer surface. The assembly comprises at least one adapting member, an internal sealing member disposed about the adapting member adjacent a distal end thereof, compression member disposed about the adapting member adjacent a proximal end thereof, and an external sealing member disposed about the adapting member between the internal sealing member and compression member. The distal end of the adapting member comprises teeth with outwardly extending flanged ends for insertion in the pipe aperture. Operation of the compression member causes the components to exert a compressive force on the sidewall of the pipe, forming the seal.

CONDUIT COUPLING APPARATUS AND METHOD

A coupling may be configured to receive and secure an insertion end of a conduit. An outer surface of the insertion end of the conduit may be smooth and free of grooves, flanges and beads. A first member of the coupling may define a first passageway. A second member of the coupling may define a second passageway. The first member may be in spin weld engagement with the second member. A gripping ring having an inner edge defining a series of teeth may be disposed within the second member. A support ring and O-ring may also be disposed within the second member.
