CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A connector assembly includes a male connector and a female connector. The male connector comprises a male connector housing, a male connector valve core, and a male connector push rod. The female connector comprises a female connector housing, a female connector valve core, and a female connector push rod. The male connector valve core has a closed position, the female connector valve core has a closed position, and the male connector is capable of being at least partially inserted into the female connector. When the male connector is inserted to a proper place in the female connector, the male connector push rod pushes the female connector valve core away from the closed position, and the female connector push rod pushes the male connector valve core away from the closed position, so that the male connector fluidly communicates with the female connector.

Spring latching connectors
A spring latching connector includes a housing having a bore therethrough, a piston slidably received in said bore, a circular groove formed in one of said bore and piston and a circular coil spring disposed in said groove for latching said piston and housing together. The groove is sized and shaped for controlling, in combination with a spring configuration, disconnect and connect forces of the spring latching connection.
COUPLING, AND METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING FLUIDS
The invention relates to a coupling 10 for transferring fluids, having a valve 30, the valve tappet 32 of which is coupled in terms of movement with a valve sleeve 31, which is pre-tensioned by spring force in the flow direction D of the fluid, and having a locking mechanism 40 for releasably locking the coupling 10 to a tank nipple 50, and a securing mechanism 60 for releasably blocking the closed valve 30, wherein the locking mechanism 40 and the securing mechanism 60 are coupled in terms of movement via a sliding sleeve 70 which is pre-tensioned by spring force against the flow direction D of the fluid, so that in a first control position A of the sliding sleeve 70, the locking mechanism 40 is unlocked and the valve 30 is closed, and in a second control position B of the sliding sleeve 70, the securing mechanism 60 unlocks the valve sleeve 31, so that the valve 30 is unblocked and at least partially opened, and the valve sleeve 31 can be moved subject to pressure against the flow direction D of the fluid, wherein the securing mechanism 60 locks the sliding sleeve and completely opens the valve 30.
Flangeless coupling having an embedded ring segment joining components of a submersible pump unit
A small-sized submersible pump unit having a submersible motor, discharge module, pump housings which are connected by flangeless coupling is disclosed. The flangeless coupling is made using embedded ring segments. The coupled housings each have the covering and the covered parts, and the covered part of one of the housings contains a blind rectangle groove, and the covering part of another housing has a through rectangle groove, and the grooves form a cavity having an embedded ring segment.

VALVE GUIDE WITH INTEGRAL ASSEMBLY SUPPORT
A valve guide for a coupling including a circular, longitudinally extending portion, including a substantially circular channel extending therethrough; a ring portion; a plurality of ports radially disposed around a centerline of the valve guide; and one of more collar supports disposed radially about the circular, longitudinally extending portion. The valve guide comprises a unitary one-piece component. A male portion for a coupling that includes a valve guide with integral assembly support and a method for assembling a coupling assembly are also disclosed.
