Fluid introducer to a piping system
11739875 · 2023-08-29 ·

The present disclosure provides a fluid introducer for a piping system that includes first and second piping sections. The fluid introducer provides a direct connection to the first piping section through a separator body configured to be positioned in an expansion gap between the first piping section and the second piping section such that a first end face of the separator body faces the first piping section and a second end face of the separator body faces the second piping section. The fluid introducer is configured to direct fluid from the fluid source through fluid introduction passaging into the first piping section and block the fluid from flowing into the second piping section.

Rod and liquid paint suction assembly and method of manufacturing such a rod

A liquid paint suction rod including an upstream tube, a flexible intermediate tube and a rigid downstream tube, which includes a downstream elbow, the downstream tube delimiting a series of passage sections defining centers constituting a trajectory, the downstream elbow extending along a curved part of the trajectory, along which the passage sections are substantially discoid and have a preferably constant diameter; in order to avoid imposing too great a curve on the intermediate tube while offering a reduced head loss for the paint passing through the rod and while being easy to manufacture, the curved part is in the shape of a planar arc of circle, having a curve radius, the ratio of the diameter to the curve radius being less than 1.

EXTENSION ASSEMBLY FOR A FIRE SUPPRESSION SPRAY NOZZLE

An extension assembly for a fire suppression spray nozzle is provided. A tube having a first end and a second end is welded to a female hose coupler at the tube’s first end. A male hose coupler is welded to the second end of the tube. A support sleeve connected to the female hose coupler inserts into a fire suppression spray nozzle or another instance of the extension assembly to provide for easy alignment of the threaded connectors and for adding strength to the connection.

UNIVERSAL COUPLINGS FOR HYDRAULIC HOSES

A conduit coupling includes a first connector at a first end of the conduit coupling, a second connector at a second end of the conduit coupling, and a stem between the first connector and the second connector. A first end of the stem is attached to the first connector. A second end of the stem is attached to the second connector. The stem is bent at a particular bend angle along a bend plane. The first connector includes an indicator that indicates an orientation of the bend plane.

Fitting for a rain gutter downpipe

A downpipe fitting for coupling between top and bottom ends of a downpipe. The downpipe fitting includes two parts connected together and rotatable relative to one another about a longitudinal axis thereof. The first part has an inlet, sized and shaped to couple with an outlet of a first section of the downpipe, above the downpipe fitting. The second part has an outlet which is sized and shaped to couple with an inlet of a second section of the downpipe, below the downpipe fitting. The inlet and outlet of the fitting define a flow path for rainwater therethrough. Rotation of the second section of downpipe below the downpipe fitting, about the longitudinal axis, is decoupled from the first section of downpipe above the downpipe fitting.

TUBULAR CONNECTOR

A connector includes a connecting body with a fluid passage at least part way therethrough, and a seal is provided with an outer portion of a fluid tube. A cartridge proximate to the connecting body has a hollow portion therethrough. A grab part has at least one tooth to retain the fluid tube and is between the cartridge and the seal. A demount part within the hollow portion moves the teeth to allow release of the fluid tube. A latch is located on one of the connecting body or a sleeve covering at least part of the cartridge or the connecting body. A mating catch is located on the other of the sleeve or the connecting body, and engagement of the latch with the catch connects the sleeve to the connecting body and helps restrain cartridge movement.

Pipe coupler

A pipe coupler is capable of preventing a fluid flowing along pipes from coming into direct contact with the pipes made of metal materials, a body, and tie rings, thereby preventing corrosion of the pipes. The pipe coupler is also capable of preventing pipes, even if the pipes made of different kinds of materials are connected, from being indirectly connected to each other by way of a fluid flowing along the inside of the pipes, thereby preventing electric corrosion of the pipes caused by the micro current contained in the fluid. The pipe coupler is also capable of absorbing dimensional differences between the pipes having different sizes.

An elbow fitting for an excavating apparatus can include a curved cylindrical pipe that can include a first metal material. In an example, the fitting can be configured for coupling to a hose. The pipe can include an interior surface and an exterior surface. Optionally, a perimeter of the pipe does not exceed a diameter of a first end of the pipe. The fitting can include a cladding layer (e.g., a second metal material) that can be coupled to the first metal material within the interior surface of the pipe. The cladding layer can include an abrasion-resistant material. The cladding layer can be coupled to the pipe such as with a welding operation. The cladding layer can include one or more ridges. The cladding layer can corregate the interior surface of the fitting and exterior surfaces of the fitting which can come into contact with abrasive material.
