FLUID CONDUIT AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A fluid conduit includes a body, a first conduit portion connected to the body, a second conduit portion connected to the body, and a base connected to the second conduit portion. The body, the first conduit portion, the second conduit portion, and the base are formed as a monolithic component via additive manufacturing.
TUBULAR CONNECTOR
A connector includes a connecting body with a fluid passage at least part way therethrough, and a seal is provided with an outer portion of a fluid tube. A cartridge proximate to the connecting body has a hollow portion therethrough. A grab part has at least one tooth to retain the fluid tube and is between the cartridge and the seal. A demount part within the hollow portion moves the teeth to allow release of the fluid tube. A latch is located on one of the connecting body or a sleeve covering at least part of the cartridge or the connecting body. A mating catch is located on the other of the sleeve or the connecting body, and engagement of the latch with the catch connects the sleeve to the connecting body and helps restrain cartridge movement.
Long tubular pipe comprising a separating member and methods for mounting and bending such a pipe
The invention relates to a long tubular pipe comprising an outer tube, an inner fluid-transporting tube mounted in the outer tube, and a separating member designed to transmit bending efforts between said outer tube and said inner tube when said outer tube is bent, the separating member comprising means for the longitudinal passage of fluid between the inner tube and the outer tube, the separating member comprising a first edge and a second edge together defining an assembly slot, the first edge and the second edge respectively comprising a first connecting element and a second connecting element designed to cooperate mechanically on the outer periphery of the inner tube.
DOUBLE PIPE
At least two spacers in an elongated shape is provided between an internal pipe and an external pipe along the center line of a double pipe. In the cross section of a bent portion as viewed in a direction along the center line of the double pipe, the first spacer is located inwardly relative to the center of the double pipe with reference to the radial direction of the bent portion. The second spacer is located outwardly relative to the center of the double pipe. When a straight line that passes through the center of the radius of the bent portion and through the center of the double pipe is taken as a reference line at least either one of the first spacer or the second spacer overlaps the reference line.
FLUID INTRODUCER TO A PIPING SYSTEM
The present disclosure provides a fluid introducer for a piping system that includes first and second piping sections. The fluid introducer provides a direct connection to the first piping section through a separator body configured to be positioned in an expansion gap between the first piping section and the second piping section such that a first end face of the separator body faces the first piping section and a second end face of the separator body faces the second piping section. The fluid introducer is configured to direct fluid from the fluid source through fluid introduction passaging into the first piping section and block the fluid from flowing into the second piping section.
Fluid Medium Enhancement Apparatus
A fluid medium flow apparatus for use in a conduit defining a primary channel through which a fluid medium flows includes a vent portion that includes a continuous outer wall situated in the conduit and having a tubular configuration defining an interior area, the vent portion defining an inlet and an outlet downstream of the inlet and includes a radius bend between the inlet and the outlet. A vane is mounted in the interior area intermediate opposed inner surfaces of the continuous side wall and having a length extending between a start of the radius bend and an end of the radius bend and includes a width equal to an inner diameter of the continuous outer wall. The vane dissects the primary channel of the conduit into an inner channel and an outer channel such that the fluid medium is bifurcated into an inner fluid portion and an outer fluid portion.
PIPE MEMBER, GASIFICATION COMBINED POWER GENERATION DEVICE, AND PIPE MEMBER ASSEMBLY METHOD
In order to allow for thermal elongation of a liner, a pipe member, in the interior of which flows a fluid containing solids, is provided with: a tubular outer pipe; a single tubular liner provided inside the outer pipe with a gap therebetween in the radial direction, or a plurality thereof arranged serially in the direction of the pipe axis C; a refractory material filled in between the outer pipe and the liner; a first liner holding member that is provided on an end portion side of the outer pipe, and that holds the liner arranged on the end portion side in a restrained state in the pipe axis C direction and the circumferential direction around the pipe axis C; and a second liner holding member that is provided on an end portion side of the outer pipe, and that holds the liner arranged on the end portion side.
Fluid passage device and method of manufacturing the same
A fluid passage device including a passage for flowing high-pressure fluid of a predetermined or higher pressure comprises a sac bore cylinder of a metal, which includes therein a closed passage and a branch passage. The closed passage is shaped to extend straightly in a predetermined direction and has a closed top end, and the branch passage is branched off from the closed passage. A top end part of the closed passage at a closed side is defined by a ceiling wall surface, which is perpendicular to the predetermined direction, a passage wall surface, which is parallel to the predetermined direction, and a connecting wall surface, which connects the ceiling wall surface and the passage wall surface. The connecting wall surface is shaped to curve in a direction to expand the closed passage.
Hydrant adapter with stainless drain
Provided is an adapter and a method of making the same. The adapter includes threads to connect a fire hydrant to one end of a fire hydrant elbow having a different scale than the fire hydrant, the fire hydrant elbow being connected at a second end to an underground water pipe. The adapter also includes at least one stainless steel tube extending at a first end thereof from a corresponding at least one port hole formed through a lower end of an inner surface of the adapter and a second end thereof extending through a corresponding at least one port hole formed through an approximate middle portion of an outer surface of the adapter. The corresponding port holes through the inner surface of the adapter and the outer surface of the adapter being in vertical alignment.
ENHANCED FLUID DEFLECTION ANGLE STRUCTURES AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING
A 3D-printed aluminum fuel fitting solution demonstrates higher performance at a potentially lower cost and shorter lead time. The resulting geometry also produced 30% weight savings leaving all interfaces intact.
