TUBULAR CONNECTOR
A connector includes a connecting body with a fluid passage at least part way therethrough, and a seal is provided with an outer portion of a fluid tube. A cartridge proximate to the connecting body has a hollow portion therethrough. A grab part has at least one tooth to retain the fluid tube and is between the cartridge and the seal. A demount part within the hollow portion moves the teeth to allow release of the fluid tube. A latch is located on one of the connecting body or a sleeve covering at least part of the cartridge or the connecting body. A mating catch is located on the other of the sleeve or the connecting body, and engagement of the latch with the catch connects the sleeve to the connecting body and helps restrain cartridge movement.
Quick connector with modular flow control insert
An assembly, connector and process for a quick connector includes a receptacle having first and second interior passages including a chamber in fluid communication between the first and second passages. A flow control insert is installed in the chamber to regulate fluid flow between the first and the second passage.
Device for Decoupling and for Vibration Control
This disclosure relates to a device in the form of a connecting pipe for use in heat pump devices for decoupling as well as for vibration control. The device includes a pipe section as well as a connecting element arranged at each end. The device further includes two non-metallic, spaced, staggered bellows assemblies for vibration compensation, the pipe section having a constant material thickness between the connecting elements, apart from any individual stabilizing rings. In addition, the bellows arrangements includes of one or more annularly closed foldings, each extending 360°.
Fluid connector
A connector for a fluid line includes a sleeve having a hollow portion at least partway therethrough. The sleeve includes an engaging portion. A collet having an engaging part is secured to the engaging portion. A grab part has one or more teeth configured to retain the fluid line, and the teeth are located in the hollow portion. A locking part is provided having a locking portion, and the locking part is configured to move from a first position to a second position where the locking portion locks with a locking piece to assist with forming a fluid seal with the fluid line.
COMPOSITE ELBOWS, AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENTS HAVING COMPOSITE ELBOWS, AND METHODS OF FORMING SUCH ELBOWS
An agricultural implement (10) includes a frame supported by a plurality of wheels and carrying a toolbar (22) and at least one central hopper (20), a plurality of material applicators (204) carried by the toolbar (22), and a plurality of flow lines (26) fluidly connecting the at least one central hopper (20) to the material applicators (204). Each flow line (26) includes at least one composite elbow (210), and each composite elbow (210) has a polymeric body (302) and a wear-resistant plate (314) within the polymeric body (302). The outlet of the polymeric body (302) has an orientation different from the inlet (304) thereof, and the wear-resistant plate (314) is oriented to deflect material traveling along a central longitudinal axis (A1) of the inlet (304) toward a direction of a central longitudinal axis (A2) of the outlet (306). A method of forming a composite elbow (210) includes disposing a wear-resistant plate (314) within a polymeric body (302) as disclosed.
CONNECTING DEVICE
A connecting device for connecting two or more components to one another, includes an inlet section and an outlet section. The inlet section and the outlet section respectively include one or more connectors for each of the two or more components, with one or more passages extending between the inlet section and the outlet section, with the connecting device being of single piece design and being plastic
Foam Protective Shell for Refrigerator Connectors
A connector assembly for installation on a wall includes a main connector body introduced into a cut-out hole of the wall and a protective shell positioned on an inner side of the wall. The protective shell protects the main connector body from an insulation foam entering the main connector body when foamed in place. The protective shell has a front portion, a receptacle formed at the front portion and receiving a second end of the main connector body, a flange extending from and surrounding the receptacle, and a lead-through channel formed at a back portion of the protective shell. The flange is attached on the inner side of the wall and covers the cut-out hole. The lead-through channel has an internal flap routing a cable through the back portion in a meandering manner. The internal flap is inclined with respect to the lead-through channel.
Conduit coupling apparatus and method
A coupling may be configured to receive and secure an insertion end of a conduit. An outer surface of the insertion end of the conduit may be smooth and free of grooves, flanges and beads. A first member of the coupling may define a first passageway. A second member of the coupling may define a second passageway. The first member may be in engagement with the second member. A gripping ring having an inner edge defining a series of teeth may be disposed within the second member. A support ring and O-ring may also be disposed within the second member.
Device and method for repairing pipe leakage
A device for repairing pipe leakage takes the form of a short section of PVC pipe with fittings. The pipe is ideally a 1′-2′ section fashioned into a U-bend with a substantially semi-circular bend and two arms, and the fittings take the form of an elbow joint glued onto each arm. The arms are ideally offset up to 5° from parallel. A method of repairing cracked PVC piping using the device involves cutting out a 4″-6″ section of piping, gluing the exposed ends of the broken piping as well as the elbow joints, squeezing the U-bend, positioning the squeezed device into the gap in broken piping, and releasing the U-bend to fit the elbow joints over the exposed ends of broken piping. The device has no vulnerable moving parts or O-rings, and it obviates the need to remove entire pipes.
FEMALE CONNECTOR AND CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure provides a female connector for receiving a male connector. The female connector includes a housing, a support ring, a clip having legs, and a clip blocking member having blocking faces. The male connector includes a groove and can be at least partially inserted into an internal space of the support ring located in a fluid channel of the female connector. When the groove is aligned with housing openings and support ring openings, the clip legs can enter the groove, and an operation portion of the clip can get into a travel end position. When the groove is not aligned with the housing openings and the support ring openings, and the clip legs abut against an outer surface of the male connector, the blocking faces can prevent the operation portion from getting into the travel end position by abutting against distal ends of the clip legs.
