Heat Exchange Pipe Joint and Battery Pack
20220221084 · 2022-07-14 ·

The present disclosure provides a heat exchange pipe joint and a battery pack. The heat exchange pipe joint is fixedly installed to an installation plate. The heat exchange pipe joint includes a first pipe and a second pipe that are separately formed and in communication with each other. The first pipe is detachably connected to a second side of the installation plate, and the second pipe is detachably connected to a first side of the installation plate. When the heat exchange pipe joint of the present disclosure is applied to the battery pack, the heat exchange pipe joint in a split-structure requires a small operation space for detachment and installation. In this case, a process of taking out the entire heat exchange pipe joint from the case can be avoided, so that the battery module and other components inside the case do not interfere with the detachment and installation of the heat exchange pipe joint. In this way, the detachment and installation of the heat exchange pipe joint can be easy and convenient, thereby facilitating the reparation process thereof.

Foam Protective Shell for Refrigerator Connectors

A connector assembly for installation on a wall includes a main connector body introduced into a cut-out hole of the wall and a protective shell positioned on an inner side of the wall. The protective shell protects the main connector body from an insulation foam entering the main connector body when foamed in place. The protective shell has a front portion, a receptacle formed at the front portion and receiving a second end of the main connector body, a flange extending from and surrounding the receptacle, and a lead-through channel formed at a back portion of the protective shell. The flange is attached on the inner side of the wall and covers the cut-out hole. The lead-through channel has an internal flap routing a cable through the back portion in a meandering manner. The internal flap is inclined with respect to the lead-through channel.

Weld repair systems and methods for use in a nuclear reactor jet pump

Systems repair jet pump elbow joining structures like RS1 and RS2 welds. Systems include a base having legs that secure to ends of the elbow in different directions, and a drive plate that joins to flow conduits where they meet the elbow. The drive plate and base may then be pushed together, resulting in compression or joining of the elbow and flow conduit. Multiple drive plates may be used with a single base to compress multiple flow conduits to the base. The base and the drive plates can be driven together with a driving bolt extending through the base and driving plate. To provide a better fit, grooves can be created in the flow conduits through machining from the installed base. The drive plate may be seated into the groove to achieve a desired orientation with less slippage. Example embodiments and methods do not require welding or a welding base.
