Clamping-action tie and also docking method and coupling method
A clamping-action tie, in particular for docking two lines or flanges, which consists of at least one flexible tie with a closure end and a free end, which should be connected to the closure end, which tie can be closed in a stepped manner, with latching action, or stepless manner around an axis, wherein at least one closing side of the tie is intended to interact mechanically with the closure end during a closing operation, wherein the closing side and/or a further side of the tie, in the form of a clamping side, has at an axial spacing apart from one another over the length of the tie, at at least two circumferential locations, at least two roughly radially inwardly directed elevations directed towards a tied article which runs radially inwards in the direction of the axis, wherein a-clamping region is made between each interacting arrangement of elevations.
Pipe coupling seal assembly
A pipe coupling assembly for coupling a first end portion of a first pipe with a second pipe includes a socket formed on an end of the second pipe and a locking ring. The socket includes a rim defining an end opening through which at least a portion of the first end portion is inserted, the rim including a rim sealing surface adapted to form a liquid-tight seal around the first end portion. The socket also includes a sleeve portion having an exterior surface and an interior surface defining an interior space for receiving the first end portion, the interior surface comprising at least two socket sealing surfaces adapted to form a liquid-tight seal around the first end portion. The locking ring is adapted to cause the rim sealing surface to compress to form a liquid-tight seal around the first end portion.

GASKET RING AND FLANGE CONNECTION USING SUCH GASKET RING
In a gasket ring for sealing flange connections and flange connections including the gasket ring, preferably connections of flanges made of plastic, in the radial direction the gasket ring is subdivided into a primary gasket ring and a secondary gasket ring, both rings being concentrically arranged and connected to each other, the secondary gasket ring being arranged on the radial outside of the primary gasket ring, the modulus of elasticity of material of the secondary gasket ring being at least 10 times higher than the modulus of elasticity of the material of the primary gasket ring, the secondary gasket ring in the major part of its radial extension having an axial main height smaller than the maximum axial height of the primary gasket ring.
End fitting for a composite pipe
An apparatus for terminating a composite pipe has a pipe having a liner layer surrounded by a composite layer and a pipe end. The liner layer has an extension piece which extends axially beyond the composite layer at the pipe end; a connector; an annular transition element located between the pipe end and the connector, the annular transition element having an exterior surface; and compression means.

THREADED FLANGE FOR A FLEXIBLE TANK
A threaded flange for a flexible tank that has a base, an upstanding passage, an upstanding support assembly and a grasping member. The base has an upper surface, and a lower surface opposite the upper surface, and an outer perimeter and an inner opening. The upstanding passage extends upwardly away from the upper surface of the base and has a lower end and an upper end, an inner surface and an outer surface, with the inner surface being threaded. The upstanding support assembly comprises a plurality of ribs extending outwardly from the outer surface of the upstanding passage and upwardly from the upper surface of the base. The grasping member is accessible from the lower surface of the base, wherein the grasping member is accessible by and structurally configured for coupling with a tool.
FITTING COLLAR AND TUBE-FITTING ASSEMBLIES INCORPORATING FITTING COLLARS
A method for coupling a fitting to a tubing end includes pressing a collar over the outer surface of the tubing until the strain on the collar in the hoop direction is at a predetermined level, or pressing a collar with a predetermined axial load.
