Fitting collar and tube-fitting assemblies incorporating fitting collars

A collar for having in cross-section a generally triangular filler section and a generally rectangular outer section over the filler section. The collar may be part of a tube assembly where the collar serves to couple a fitting to tube. A method of installing the collar includes pressing the collar over the outer surface of the tubing until the strain on the collar in the hoop direction is at a predetermined level.

RESIN-TUBE END FORMATION METHOD AND FORMATION TOOL

A resin tube is prepared. Further, a formation tool having a pressing surface and a projection that projects from the pressing surface and is insertable into the resin tube is prepared. The projection of the formation tool is inserted from an end of the resin tube into the resin tube. The pressing surface of the formation tool is pressed against an end surface of the resin tube. Thermal energy is applied to the end of the resin tube, whereby a shape of the pressing surface of the formation tool is transferred to the end surface of the resin tube, and the end of the resin tube is formed into a flange shape.

FITTING ASSEMBLY FOR FLUID DEVICE

A fitting assembly for fluid device is provided, which can reduce space for installation of fluid devices. The assembly includes a first port, a second port, a first annular member, a second annular member, and a connector. The first port is annular and installed at a first fluid device to be connected with its first fluid channel. The second port is annular and installed at a second fluid device to be connected with its second fluid channel. The first annular member is installed at the first port and has a first coupler. The second annular member is installed at the second port and has a second coupler to be coupled with the first coupler to fix the second annular member to the first annular member. The connector is installed between the first port and the second port and seals gaps between the connector and the first and second ports.

A combination includes a plurality of segments attached to one another end to end around a central space. A channel is disposed between the sides of the segments. A sealing ring is positioned in the channels. A tube has a first end disposed within the central space. A first protrusion extends radially outwardly from the tube and limits the extent to which the tube can extend into the central space. The combination is configured such that an end of a pipe element may be axially inserted into the central space and fasteners can be tightened to draw the segments toward one another.

Coupling member, fluid-device connecting jig, and fluid-device connecting structure

A fluid-device connecting structure includes a first fluid device having a first connection part, a second fluid device having a second connection part, an annular seal member to connect the first and second connection parts, and a coupling member to keep the first and second connection parts in a connected state. The coupling member includes a first coupling segment and a second coupling segment, each including at one end a first hinge part or a second hinge part. The first and second connection parts each have a cylindrical outer shape. The first coupling segment has a U-like shape having an opening and surrounds the first and second connection parts over a range more than 180 degrees of an entire circumference of each of the first and second connection parts.
