Soil pipe coupler
The present invention relates to a soil pipe coupler that includes a body portion formed from a thermoplastic elastomer. The body portion includes an inner wall, an outer wall, and a first and second lip defined by the outer wall. The first lip is disposed proximate a first end, while a second lip is disposed proximate a longitudinally-opposed second end of the body portion. The body portion includes an annular seat and at least one rib member that extend radially inwards from the inner wall and further defines a channel extending from the first to the second end. The soil pipe coupler includes a sheathing member configured to wrap about the body portion and is disposed between the first and second lips. Additionally, the soil pipe coupler includes at least one clamp configured to operably engage the sheathing member. An associated method of installation is also provided.
Adjustable Tubular Pipe Insulator
An adjustable tubular insulator for a pipe includes a main body having a width extending between a first end and a second end; a longitudinal slit formed by the main body, the longitudinal slit being sized and configured for engaged receipt of the pipe by the main body; and a plurality of longitudinal seams at the second end of the main body, the plurality of longitudinal seams demarking a plurality of detachable insulator strips having predetermined widths; and wherein one or more of the plurality of insulator strips may be selectively removed by a user along a corresponding one of the plurality of longitudinal seams to reduce the width of the main body such that the main body is sized for congruent abutment about the pipe.

HIGH-TEMPERATURE INSULATION FOR THERMALLY INSULATING PIPES
A high-temperature insulation for thermally insulating pipes includes a carrier layer, wound helically to form a tubular main body and has four or more windings, and has three or more different insulating layers. The inner winding circumferentially surrounds the inner cavity of the tubular main body. The circumference of the inner cavity is at least 50 mm. The insulating layers are arranged in the gaps between the windings of the carrier layer and contact the carrier layer both radially inwardly and radially outwardly. The insulating layers are arranged in the carrier layer have, along the circular path specified by the winding, a length that corresponds to at least 80% of the circumference of the inner cavity of the tubular main body. The carrier layer, the first insulating layer, the second insulating layer, and the third insulating layer each consist of different materials and/or thermal conductivities and/or temperature resistances.
Heat and fire resistant gel seal
A combination seal connects a filter or an equipment component to a base. The combination seal includes a seal material and flecks or particles made of intumescent material interspersed within the seal material. The flecks or particles of intumescent material undergo a chemical change when exposed to flames or heat and expand to maintain seal effectiveness and longevity without compromise.
FIRE RESISTENT COMPOSITE POLE SYSTEM
A utility pole system that provides for easy temperature inspection of the fiberglass reinforced plastic utility pole. The system may include utility pole and a sleeve arranged around the pole, and a temperature sensor positioned underneath the sleeve.

AN IMPROVED FIRE COLLAR
This invention relates to a fire collar (10) that includes a housing (11) having a bore that includes a first opening (13) and a second opening (18), said second opening being spaced from said first opening by at least one side wall (12), and wherein the fire collar further includes mounting means (14) for mounting said housing to a supporting structure, said mounting means being located adjacent said first opening. The fire collar also includes a layer of intumescent material (46) contained within the bore, adjacent the first opening, and supported in said bore adjacent the side wall. The fire collar also includes one or more torsion springs (48) which are operatively connected to the housing and wherein each spring includes a first leg (50) and a second leg (51). The second leg (51) is capable of movement between a first or non-operating position proximal to the layer of intumescent material and a second or operational position whereby said layer of intumescent material that is in contact with said second leg, either directly or indirectly, at least partially
Heat resistant hose
A heat resistant hose is described. The hose may include a first outer protective and structural woven reinforcing layer comprising a first tubular fabric structure, a second inner protective and structural woven reinforcing layer comprising a second tubular fabric structure, where the second inner protective and structural woven reinforcing layer is within the first outer protective and structural woven reinforcing layer, a hose innermost extruded waterproofing layer comprising an elastomeric material, the hose layer being bonded to, adhered to, or impregnated into or through the second protective layer, the innermost extruded waterproofing layer is within the inner protective and structural woven reinforcing layer, and an intermediate layer interposed between the first outer protective and structural woven reinforcing layer and the second inner protective and structural woven reinforcing layer, the intermediate layer comprising a fabric laminated with a reflective material.
