QUICK-CONNECT FITTING
The disclosure herein relates to a quick-connect fitting that provides a leak-proof connection between two components of a waterway. The quick-connect fitting of the present disclosure is releasable and reusable for disconnecting and reconnecting the waterway connection. Moreover, the quick-connect fitting further comprises an audible identifier which identifies the quick-connect fitting has secured the waterway components to be connected.
Coupling having rotation limited segments
A pipe coupling has two segments with angularly oriented action surfaces in facing relationship. The action surfaces induce relative rotation between the segments when the segments are drawn together to engage the pipe elements being joined. Attachment elements on each segment, in the form of lugs, accommodate adjustable fasteners which draw the segments together when tightened. Angularly oriented support surfaces on the lugs engage one another and react the fastener force. Stop surfaces are positioned on the lugs adjacent to the support surfaces. Engagement between the stop surfaces limits the relative rotation between the segments.
Conduit with radio frequency identification (RFID) enabled sensor
A system for sensing a physical property of a medium inside a conduit includes a radio frequency identification (RFID) reader arranged to transmit electromagnetic signals in at least one radio frequency. An RFID tag receives the least one radio frequency and exchanges the received radio frequency to electrical energy powering the RFID tag. An included sensor electrically connected to the RFID tag receives the electrical energy from the RFID tag and powers the sensor to obtain measurement data of at least one physical property of the medium and transmit the measurement data to the RFID tag. The RFID tag transmits the measurement data to the RFID reader using the at least one radio frequency.
View Holes For Heavy Quick Union Collars
A collar assembly that couples the pin end of a first pipe with the box end of a second pipe and provides for a visual inspection of the alignment.
FLUID LINE QUICK CONNECTOR WITH RETAINER AND DATA MATRIX
A fluid line quick connector has a retainer and a data matrix. The retainer is caused to move via a spigot upon insertion of the spigot within the fluid line quick connector. The data matrix is obstructed by the retainer when the spigot is not inserted in the fluid line quick connector, and is revealed when the spigot is inserted in the fluid line quick connector. When obstructed, a suitable reading and scanning of the data matrix cannot take place. And when revealed, in contrast, a suitable reading and scanning of the data matrix can occur.
Pipe connector
Fretting wear in a pipe connector is avoided in advance. In a connector body (1), there is provided a gate member (29) having spring portions (33) that allow a pipe (P) to be inserted up to a regular depth while maintaining a contact state with the pipe (P). When a retainer (37) is pushed in with the pipe (P) being inserted to the connector body (1) up to the regular depth, locking legs (45) of the retainer (37) are locked to a bulge portion (6) of the pipe (P) and each locking leg (45) enters between the pipe (P) and the spring portion (33) and elastically displaces the spring portion (33) in a direction away from the pipe (P), thereby eliminating the contact state.
Apparatus and method for coupling a plurality of hydraulic valves with a plurality of hose fittings
A guiding plate for coupling a plurality of hydraulic valves and a plurality of hose fittings which comprises a plate, and an identifying mark. The plate includes a plurality of apertures corresponding to the plurality of hydraulic calve and is positionable over the plurality of hydraulic valves. The identifying mark on the plate for each of the plurality of apertures, the identifying mark indicating the sequence of coupling of each hydraulic valve from the plurality of hydraulic valves with each hose fitting form the plurality of hose fittings.
Line Coupling Assembly
A line coupling assembly for a motor vehicle includes a line coupling, a first line, and a second line which can be coupled to the first line via the line coupling, wherein at their coupling-side ends, which are supposed to be connected, the lines each have a coupling component which, when the lines are completely coupled, interact such that the lines are tightly coupled together. When the lines are not completely coupled, the coupling components interact such that there is a defined inspection gap near the line coupling.
Clamp
A clamp comprises a first arcuate portion, a second arcuate portion connected to the first arcuate portion via a hinge, and a ratchet mechanism for locking the first and second arcuate portions in a closed position. The first and second arcuate portions each comprise a circumferential groove which tapers in a radial direction from an opening of the groove to a base of the groove. The groove of one of the first and second arcuate portions has an angular extent which exceeds 180 degrees and has an opening with a width which is narrower at opposing ends of the groove than at a position partway between the ends.
Quick connector assembly for fluid lines with positive assurance feature
Provided is a quick connector assembly for joining a male member and a female connector member together to secure fluid communication in a fluid line system. The quick connector assembly includes a primary latch and a secondary latch configured to toggle between engaged and disengaged positions and to allow for a visual, audible, and/or tactile indication as to the status of a secure attachment between a male member and a female connector member.
