CHEMICAL INJECTION SYSTEM

Provided is a chemical injection system for connection to a chemical tank and a process line. The system includes a pump box configured to attach to the tank, the pump box including a body defining an interior, a pump assembly disposed within the interior of the body of the pump box, and an injection assembly configured to be fluidly coupled to the pump box. The injection assembly includes an injection lance having a flange and a stem, a first seal abutting a first side of the flange of the injection lance, and a second seal abutting a second side of the flange of the injection lance.

CONNECTION DEVICE

A connection device has a line portion having, at its end, a radially outwardly projecting abutment flange for abutting against a corresponding abutment flange of a further line portion which is to be coupled to the line portion, and a ring-segment chain comprising a plurality of ring segments connected to one another in a pivotable manner in a common ring plane, wherein the ring-segment ends which form the chain ends can be latched to one another to give a ring-form connection clamp. The invention is distinguished in that the line portion is designed in the form of a tubular connection stub with first thread means spaced apart axially from the abutment surface of its abutment flange and in that each ring segment has a radially inwardly projecting clamping flange and second thread means, which are spaced apart axially from said clamping flange and correspond to the first thread means.

There may be provided a connector for a liquid container. The connector may include a connector body, and a through-hole for fitting on a neck portion of the liquid container. The connector may further include a restraining arrangement positioned proximal to the through-hole. The restraining arrangement may include a first restraining member and a second restraining member extending towards a central axis of the connector body. The first restraining member may have a distal end that extends further than a distal end of the second restraining member. The distal end of the first restraining member may engage the neck portion of the liquid container at a first position, and the distal end of the second restraining member may engage the neck portion of the liquid container at a second position. The connector may further include a connector-to-key-interface arrangement configured to mate with a corresponding surface of a key member.

Coupling, and method for transferring fluids

The invention relates to a coupling 10 for transferring fluids, having a valve 30, the valve tappet 32 of which is coupled in terms of movement with a valve sleeve 31, which is pre-tensioned by spring force in the flow direction D of the fluid, and having a locking mechanism 40 for releasably locking the coupling 10 to a tank nipple 50, and a securing mechanism 60 for releasably blocking the closed valve 30, wherein the locking mechanism 40 and the securing mechanism 60 are coupled in terms of movement via a sliding sleeve 70 which is pre-tensioned by spring force against the flow direction D of the fluid, so that in a first control position A of the sliding sleeve 70, the locking mechanism 40 is unlocked and the valve 30 is closed, and in a second control position B of the sliding sleeve 70, the securing mechanism 60 unlocks the valve sleeve 31, so that the valve 30 is unblocked and at least partially opened, and the valve sleeve 31 can be moved subject to pressure against the flow direction D of the fluid, wherein the securing mechanism 60 locks the sliding sleeve and completely opens the valve 30.

A fluid coupling has two similar coupling halves, each with a rotary body of a valve. A drive device for closing/opening the valve is associated with each rotary body. Each half has a coupling means for connecting/decoupling the halves by relative rotation. Securing means secure the connection when at least one valve is open and close the two rotary valves to disconnect/connect the halves. The drive device is arranged on one half and has a drive shaft which is associated with a valve shaft of the rotary body of the other half. A locking connection is configured which, when the halves are connected, connects the drive shaft on one half to the valve shaft on the other in a non-rotatable/releasable manner such that the rotation of the rotary body is controllable and relative rotation of the halves is blocked but the relative rotation when the valves are closed is permitted.
