Aseptic connector for fluid conduits
An aseptic connector includes first and second matable housings each comprising a plurality of connectors for fluid conduits. The fluid conduits enter the housings and may be force-fitted onto barbs or flanges on one side of the connectors, or may instead be molded directly onto the connectors. When the housings are joined, the opposite sides of the connectors mate to form fluid seals, thereby establishing fluid pathways between now-connected sets of tubes.
Rubber product with wear indicating layers
A polymeric product with at least one surface subject to wear or abrasion, at least a portion of which product includes microcapsules of an indicator substance which is released to indicate a state of wear has been reached. The microencapsulated indicator substance may be a fragrance or a colorant. The indicating portion or zone may be a layer or a thin sheet of microcapsules in rubber or in the polymeric material making up the body of the product. There may be more than one indicating layer or zone in the product. The various zones may contain different fragrances or colorants, which may provide progressive indication of the state of wear.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR COUPLING A PLURALITY OF HYDRAULIC VALVES WITH A PLURALITY OF HOSE FITTINGS
A guiding plate for coupling a plurality of hydraulic valves and a plurality of hose fittings which comprises a plate, and an identifying mark. The plate includes a plurality of apertures corresponding to the plurality of hydraulic calve and is positionable over the plurality of hydraulic valves. The identifying mark on the plate for each of the plurality of apertures, the identifying mark indicating the sequence of coupling of each hydraulic valve from the plurality of hydraulic valves with each hose fitting form the plurality of hose fittings.
HOSE COUPLING GUARD
A hose coupling guard including a fixture configured to connect to a hose coupling having a release mechanism, and a cover movably connected to the fixture to be movable between a first position and a second position. The cover includes a shield configured to enclose the release mechanism when the cover is in the first position, and to expose the release mechanism when the cover is in the second position. A display surface may be located on the shield and configured to be oriented to face a location from which an operator can operate the release mechanism.
Pipe coupling
A pipe coupling for connecting adjacent pipes. The pipe coupling has a connection type at each end that may be male or female. A female end may have an interior surface defining a receiving chamber. An interior circumferential groove is formed in the interior surface in which a band is seated. A plurality of rigid fingers is extends from the band into the receiving chamber. The receiving chamber receives a male end of an adjacent pipe, the male end having an exterior surface. An exterior circumferential groove is defined on the exterior surface to receive the plurality of rigid fingers. A variety of connection types and combinations are disclosed. The female end may define a sight window to permit viewing of the position of a male end of an adjacent pipe. The receiving chamber may have a reduced diameter proximate to the middle of the coupling to improve sealing.
Weld fitting
A heat-weldable weld fitting that has a cylindrical fitting main body portion. The cylindrical fitting main body portion includes an outer periphery including a first end portion, a second end portion, and a middle section between the first end portion and the second end portion, and positioning scales formed at equal intervals in a peripheral direction of the second end portion of the outer periphery of the fitting main body portion. The first end portion being configured to be heated by a heater and is welded to an end portion of another weld fitting. The positioning scales are configured to define an angular portion of the weld fitting relative to the welding apparatus at the time of welding the first end portion to the first end portion of another weld fitting by matching the positioning scale with a reference mark provided on the clamp portion of the welding apparatus.
VACUUM INSULATED ARTICLES WITH REFLECTIVE MATERIAL ENHANCEMENT
Provided are vacuum-insulated articles that comprise an evacuated space disposed between first and second walls and a reflective material disposed within the evacuated space. Also provided are methods of fabricating such articles.
Systems for and methods of differentiating pipe insulation
Pipe insulation includes indicia thereon to facilitate differentiating the pipe insulation from other pipe insulation, even when a majority of the pipe insulation is not visible to a user.
Composite pipe assembly
A pipe assembly comprising a composite pipe, and end connector provided at an end of the pipe, and means for providing a visual indication of impact damage to the pipe, the means for providing a visual indication of impact damage to the pipe comprising a thin sleeve mounted around, but spaced from, a pipe body of the composite pipe, whereby at each end of the pipe body, the pipe body, the sleeve and the end connector are preferably sealingly fitted together, and wherein the sleeve is configured to provide a visual indication indicative of an impact acting on the sleeve even if the impact does not reach the pipe body.
Pipe flange identification tool and system
The present disclosure relates to a pipe flange standard identification tool and a system. In one aspect, the valve identification tool includes a pair of spaced-apart apertures and bears information identifying a valve having a pair of adjacent flange bolts with a spacing therebetween, which matches the spacing between the apertures. Also disclosed is a set of the above-described valve measurement tools, and a kit having a plurality of the tool sets. In one form, each of the tools in a given set corresponds with a valve listed in a common standard.
