Mechanism for automatically powering off/on a visual display

A cradle apparatus detects spatial distances from target objects positioned in adjacency to the cradle apparatus, and communicates with a mobile communications device for selectively powering off/on the visual display of the mobile communications device based on its distance from a target object. The cradle apparatus includes a cradle assembly, at least one distance sensor, and sensor support circuitry. The cradle assembly is configured for cradling the communications device and displaying a visual display of the communications device as cradled by the cradle assembly, optionally at an oblique angle relative to a support surface. Each distance sensor is positioned by the cradle assembly for detecting the relative distance of select objects positioned in adjacency to the visual display. The sensor support circuitry communicates each distance sensor to a switch or circuit board for powering off or powering on the visual display depending on its distance from the target object.

Compact electronic device with thermal management

This application is directed to a passively-cooled electronic device including a housing, a plurality of electronic assemblies and a plurality of thermally conductive parts. The electronic assemblies are enclosed in the housing, and include a first electronic assembly and a second electronic assembly. The first and second electronic assemblies are disposed proximately to each other within the housing, and the second electronic assembly is substantially sensitive to heat, including heat generated by operation of the first electronic assembly. The thermally conductive parts are coupled between the first electronic assembly and the housing, and configured to create a first plurality of heat conduction paths to conduct the heat generated by the first electronic assembly away from the second electronic assembly without using a fan. At least a subset of the thermally conductive parts mechanically supports one or both of the first and second electronic assemblies.

Anti-fall device

An embodiment of the present application discloses an anti-fall device including a trigger mechanism, a deformable structure and a shell. The deformable structure is connected with the trigger mechanism and is set to be compressed and elastically deformed when located in the shell. The trigger mechanism is set in the shell and is configured to drive the deformable structure to move in a direction away from the trigger mechanism, so that the deformable structure pops out of the shell and recovers to a natural state from a compressed state.

Backpack Kickstand Assembly

A backpack kickstand assembly for supporting a backpack while the backpack is being worn includes a backpack frame that can be worn on a user's back. A backpack is removably mounted to the backpack frame to facilitate the backpack to be carried on the user's back. A kickstand is attachable to the backpack frame and the kickstand is positionable in an extended position to support the weight of the backpack frame while the backpack frame is being worn to facilitate the wearer of the backpack frame to rest. The kickstand is positionable in a retracted position to facilitate the wearer to bear the full weight of the backpack frame.

Rotary closed-valve vacuum suction device

A rotary closed-valve vacuum suction device is mounted to a bottom of an object, and has a valve assembly, a sucker, and a valve part. The valve assembly has a top valve seat and a bottom valve seat mounted below the top valve seat. The sucker is mounted to a bottom of the valve assembly. The valve part is inserted through a valve hole of the sucker and the bottom valve seat, and is connected to the top valve seat. When one of the top valve seat and the bottom valve seat is rotated to change the relative position between the bottom valve seat and the top valve seat in a height direction of the valve assembly, the valve part switches the valve hole of the sucker between an open state and a closed state.
