MONITORING AND EXTINGUISHING DEVICE
20240009497 · 2024-01-11 ·

A device for monitoring and controlling the extinguishment of a source of fire or the like in a conveyed material flowing in a pipeline. Danger sources are detected by a sensor system and controlled by introducing a fire extinguishing agent via extinguishing nozzles embedded in the pipe wall. For this purpose, a main controller and a large number of decentralized monitoring devices are provided for monitoring the functioning of each valve unit and of an extinguishing nozzle that is connected downstream to the valve of each valve unit and is to be supplied with the fire extinguishing agent. In the process, feedback is sent from the monitoring device to the central main controller.

Ventilation panel with panel silencer for a turbine package enclosure

A ventilation panel for an enclosure of an industrial machine is disclosed herein. In embodiments, the ventilation panel includes a panel silencer and a fire damper assembly. The panel silencer includes a number of panels joined together to form an internal cavity and a front panel opening that provides access into the internal cavity. The fire damper assembly partially inserts into the panel silencer. The fire damper assembly includes a plurality of isolation louvers and an actuation assembly. The plurality of isolation louvers are rotatably affixed within the fire damper assembly. The actuation assembly rotates the plurality of isolation louvers into a closed position when activated.

A control system for use with a fire-fighting device includes a remote component having a touch sensitive screen configured to receive a user-requested parameter of fluid and to display a plurality of indicators associated with the fire-fighting device. The control system also includes a base component including a programmable logic controller having predefined logic stored thereon. The base component automatically controls operation of the pump based on the predefined logic and the user-requested parameter of fluid. The remote component receives signals from the base component and presents, via the touch sensitive screen, at least one of a first of the plurality of indicators indicative of a water volume associated with a first water source stored at a fire fighting device, and a second of the plurality of indicators indicative of a water pressure associated with a second water source remote from the fire-fighting device.

Fire Safety Devices Methods and Systems

A fire safety system particularly adapted for commercial kitchen applications provides control of exhaust levels for energy efficiency and intelligently responds to fires or fire risks. In embodiments, systems may provide early warning of fire hazards or impending fires. Embodiments employ probabilistic estimates with alarms that can be canceled. Embodiments employ classifiers that can make use of alarm cancellations as a mechanism for supervised learning.

Network-type temperature-controlled hanging extinguishing system

A network-type temperature-controlled hanging extinguishing system includes: a main fire-fighting pipe which has at least one fire-extinguishing medium support port; at least one fire-extinguishing medium pressure bearing tank communicated with the main fire-fighting pipe; at least one fire sprinkler valve which is communicated with the main fire-fighting pipe and includes a memory alloy part adapted for controlling opening and closing a valve body; and at least open nozzle which is communicated with the fire sprinkler valve, such that when the fire sprinkler valve is opened, the fire-extinguishing medium is sprayed, and when the fire sprinkler valve is closed, the fire-extinguishing medium is stopped spraying. An amount of the fire-extinguishing medium pressure bearing tanks is different from that of the open nozzles; a user is able to select an appropriate amount of fire-extinguishing medium pressure bearing tanks as required to reduce the manufacturing, assembly and maintenance cost of the entire system.
