Mobile Device Grip and Stand
An extendable grip for a mobile device includes a base configured to couple with a mobile device or a case of the mobile device. The plurality of elastic elements are coupled with the base at a first end. The plurality of elastic elements are coupled with a top at a second end. The plurality of elastic elements are configured to provide an expansion force that biases the top away from the base towards a neutral position when in the collapsed position. The base and the top are configured to produce a magnetic force that biases the top and the base towards one another. The extendable grip has the neutral position and a collapsed position. A distance between the top and the base is greater in the neutral position than in the collapsed position. The magnetic force is stronger than the expansion force in the retracted position.
Shimbari Systems for the Stabilization of Surfaces
Based on the traditional shimbari principle, new methods for precise positioning and support of shimbari rods utilizing a modular aluminum framing system have been developed. With these innovations, a wide range of three-dimensional works of art can be treated, including large-scale sculptures with complex contours and irregular surfaces. These methods and systems include easily adaptable shimbari clamping devices and pivot mounts developed by a team of conservators and an industrial designer-fabricator in the Department of Objects Conservation at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
SUPPORT DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC SYSTEM
A support device. The support device includes a seat for contacting a bearing surface when the support device is placed on the bearing surface and a support body having a first end and a second opposite end for supporting an output device, the first end being connected to the seat, the second end being connected to the output device, the connected output device facing a first direction. The support body includes a first receiving space, and the first receiving space is configured to accommodate at least a part of a processing device. The support body includes at least one opening facing a second direction, at least a part of an interaction part of the processing device to be placed in the first receiving space is exposed through the opening, and the second direction is different from an opposite direction of the first direction.
Release mechanisms
In some examples, a release mechanism can include an extensible mechanism having a first distal end with a handle, a second distal end with an opening, and a slot. The release mechanism can include a hinge mechanism including a first face including a first tab that defines a first annulus and a second tab defines a second annulus, a second face including a third tab that defines a retention mechanism that is to be positioned in the slot, and a third face located opposite of the first face. The release mechanism can include an ejection mechanism including a first arm having a first projection to extend into the first annulus, a second arm having a second projection to extend into the second annulus, and a third arm to extend through the opening.
Elevated equipment installation apparatus
Described, herein, is an installation apparatus and method which may permit the safe and rapid mounting of an electrical device (e.g., a Wi-Fi access point or a surveillance camera) onto an elevated support surface (e.g., a wall, a post, or a ceiling). Accordingly, the installation apparatus may include a housing, a mount, and an elongated handle. During use, the mount may be configured to be affixed to the elevated support surface. Additionally, the elongated handle may be configured to selectively couple to the housing enabling a user to lift the housing to the mount on the elevated support surface. Subsequent to the user lifting the housing to the mount, the housing may be configured to selectively couple to the housing, securing the housing to the mount.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF SECURING TRANSPORT CONTAINERS TO ATTACHMENT POINTS
Securing systems and methods of securing a transport container to an attachment point. In one embodiment, the securing system includes an actuator, an attachment structure, and an electronic controller. The attachment structure is dimensioned to complement the actuator. The electronic controller is operably coupled to the actuator for attaching and releasing the actuator to the attachment structure.
Box latch
The present invention provides a box latch. The box latch is provided with two wedge-shaped pins symmetrically arranged around its center, and the two wedge-shaped pins are movable into a wedge-shaped notch formed by mating parts of two spliced adjacent boxes and mating with the wedge-shaped pin to lock the two adjacent boxes. The two wedge-shaped pins are symmetrically arranged around its center such that only one box latch is required to lock two adjacent boxes together, reducing the number of splicing steps and box latches, further saving manpower and material resources. In addition, the wedge-shaped pin and the wedge-shaped notch are shaped and configured to mate with each other such that self-locking occurs when they are locked, thus providing a stable connection of the boxes.
Connecting structure and display device
The present disclosure provides a connecting structure and a display device, the connecting structure includes a base, a connecting rod, an elastic arm, and a clamping ring. The connecting rod includes two ends, the connecting rod defines a guiding groove between the two ends; the base is fixedly connected to one end of the connecting rod; the connecting rod defines a guiding groove between the two ends, the elastic arm is fixedly connected to the other end of the connecting rod; the clamping ring is sleeved on the elastic arm; the clamping ring defines a clamping component, the clamping component is received in the guiding groove, the clamping component moves in the guiding groove under an action of an external force, allowing the clamping ring to reciprocate along a direction of the guiding groove; the clamping ring is capable of moving to generate a force on the elastic arm.
Orthotic device for use with user-operated tool
An orthotic device is coupleable to a fastener installation tool and is configured to be worn on an appendage of a user of the fastener installation tool. The orthotic device is configurable between a relaxed state and a rigid state, and includes at least one activation component responsive to an activation signal output by a controller in communication with the fastener installation tool. The at least one activation component changes the orthotic device from the relaxed state to the rigid state in response to operation of the fastener installation tool.
Security apparatus for the functional display of portable electronic devices
A security apparatus for securing a portable electronic device comprises a support and a guide positioned within the support and defining a plurality of surface features. At least two holders are partially positioned between the guide and the support and define a plurality of complimentary surface features. A lock assembly is configured move between an unlocked state and a locked state. In an unlocked state, the at least two holders are enabled to move in a first direction that is away from the support and in an opposing second direction to move the at least two holders towards the support. In a locked state, the lock assembly moves the guide to clamp the at least two holders between the guide and the support to engage the surface features of the guide with those of the holders and inhibit movement of the at least two holders in the first direction.
