An overhead display assembly includes a display monitor coupled to a monitor tray. The monitor tray is positionable in an operational position and a maintenance position. A support stanchion has an anchoring part, a coupling part, and a stanchion body extending from the anchoring part to the coupling part. The anchoring part is coupleable to a fixed vertical or horizontal supporting structure. A counter-balanced hinging mechanism has one or more pivots upon which monitor tray is configured to rotate with respect to said support stanchion. A force producing device is configured to apply a variable amount of force to the monitor tray based upon a position of the display monitor, the variable amount of force being at least a force sufficient to maintain the monitor tray stationary in an intermediate position between the operational position and the maintenance position.

The backplane provided in the present disclosure is secured to a middle frame in a display panel to form a frame structure of the display panel, the backplane including: a bottom plate and a skirt connected to edges of the bottom plate, wherein at least part of the skirt is provided with a clamping member for securing the backplane to the middle frame, the clamping member is provided with a dismounting structure for disengaging the clamping member from the skirt under an external force so that the backplane is separated from the middle frame.

In certain embodiments, a security apparatus includes first and second mounting brackets each including a respective support shelf and a respective support arm. One or more brace elements are attached to the support shelf of each of the mounting brackets. Each brace element includes a respective corner element to be placed over a respective one of four corners of a rectangular shaped portable electronic device. A pair of neck portions are securable to one another with the first and second support arms sandwiched therebetween. A collar is configured to be slid over and encase peripheries of the neck portions. One or more bolts or other fastener(s) extending from at least one of the neck portions, or attached thereto, is/are used to secure the security apparatus to a tabletop of a display table or to another display surface.

Dust removal method and system in rollable display device

In a method for dust removal in a rollable display device, a control module activates rolling mechanisms and a dust removal mechanism of the rollable display device. The control module determines a first amount of dust particles on a display surface of the rollable display device using data from a dust detection mechanisms. When the first amount of dust particles is determined to exceed a threshold, the control module engages magnetic locks to lock the rolling mechanisms, and the dust removal mechanism continues to remove the dust from the display surface. The control module determines a second amount of dust particles on the display surface. When the second amount of dust particles is determined to fall below the threshold, the control module disengages the magnetic locks to release the rolling mechanisms. Dust removal mechanism may include piezoelectric strips or an ultrasound haptic effect generation module.
