The control unit is coupled to the clamping unit and the first communication unit. When the clamping unit is switched from an off mode to an on mode, the control unit controls the first communication unit to pair with the second communication unit and sends a screen-off command to the second communication unit via the first communication unit after the pairing is completed. When the clamping unit is in a clamping mode, the control unit sends an application open command to the second communication unit via the first communication unit.

The balancing method includes: controlling a driving motor to rotate, and obtain a first electric signal parameter of the driving motor, where the gimbal includes a rotating assembly and a balancing motor, and the rotating assembly includes a gimbal component, a transmission mechanism and a driving motor. The driving motor is configured to drive the gimbal component to rotate so as to adjust the attitude of the gimbal. The balancing motor is configured to drive at least part of the gimbal component to move via the transmission mechanism so as to adjust the center of gravity of the gimbal. The operation of the balancing motor may be controlled based on the first electrical signal parameter to make the gimbal in a balanced state in an adjustment direction of the balancing motor.

An ultrasound therapy transducer and imaging system can be mounted on the articulating arm. Methods for performing manipulating the arm and system are also provided.

An overhead display assembly includes a display monitor coupled to a monitor tray. The monitor tray is positionable in an operational position and a maintenance position. A support stanchion has an anchoring part, a coupling part, and a stanchion body extending from the anchoring part to the coupling part. The anchoring part is coupleable to a fixed vertical or horizontal supporting structure. A counter-balanced hinging mechanism has one or more pivots upon which monitor tray is configured to rotate with respect to said support stanchion. A force producing device is configured to apply a variable amount of force to the monitor tray based upon a position of the display monitor, the variable amount of force being at least a force sufficient to maintain the monitor tray stationary in an intermediate position between the operational position and the maintenance position.

An adjustable support arm utilizing an elastomeric member having a dynamic attachment point to support the weight of an attached object. The adjustable support arm can include a lower bracket that is connected to an upper bracket by an upper arm and a lower arm. The elastomeric member counterbalances the weight of an attached object. The first end of the elastomeric member can be attached to a linkage, which can include a first, second, and third link and the second end of the elastomeric member can be attached to one of the arms. The links can be coupled to each other between the upper and lower arms such that the linkage is dynamically moveable upon movement of the support arm.
