HAND-HELD DEVICE FOR RECORDING OF LIVING SKIN AREAS OF HUMAN AUTOPODS AND DOCUMENTS
A hand-held device for recording of living skin areas of human autopods and documents is disclosed. The device has an image acquisition module with a support surface and a holding unit for a display and an operating module. The holding unit contains a base frame and a folding frame, which are pivotably connected by a mechanical pivot joint. The image acquisition module is arranged in the base frame, with the support surface facing the folding frame, and the display and operating module can be arranged in the folding frame, with the display facing away from the base frame. In an opened state of the holding unit, the base frame and the folding frame enclose an angle of less than 90° and greater than 20° with each other. In a closed state of the holding unit, the image acquisition module can be covered by the display and operating module.
PORTABLE POOL FILTER CLEANING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CLEANING A POOL FILTER
A portable pool filter cleaning assembly is configured to retain a pool filter on support rod and allow the pool filter to spin from a spray of water. The spinning filter releases debris from the filter surface through centrifugal force. The assembly has drainage features to ensure proper drainage of water collected within the interior of the pool filter and enable proper spinning from the spray of water. The assembly utilizes a support rod with a bottom filter retainer that is conical in shape for engaging with the pool filter aperture. The bottom filter retainer may further have a bearing that enables the pool filter to rotate freely about the rod with very little force. The assembly may include a stand for securing the support rod on a hard surface, such as concrete or on an uneven lawn surface.
Sensor calibration
A method includes providing a fixture including a target in a field of view of a sensor mounted to a vehicle. The target is detectable by the sensor. The fixture includes a first rangefinding device and a second rangefinding device spaced from the first rangefinding device. The method includes measuring a first angle and first distance from the first rangefinding device to a first known point on the vehicle; measuring a second angle and second distance from the second rangefinding device to a second known point on the vehicle; determining a position and orientation of the target in a coordinate system relative to the vehicle based on the first angle, the first distance, the second angle, and the second distance; and calibrating the sensor based on the position and orientation of the target.
SUPPORT FOOT
A support foot for securing a frame member on a supporting surface, comprising a base portion having a base surface for resting on said supporting surface; a central portion connected to the base portion, and a core having opposed first and second ends and a longitudinal axis extending between the first and second ends and configured to receive a frame member. The core comprises at least one resiliently deformable member extending from a root at the first end to a free distal end in a direction substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis and spaced from an inner surface of the central portion, whereby to form a gap into which the at least one resiliently deformable member can deform. The at least one resiliently deformable member is configured to deflect into the gap and away from an associated opposed surface. The at least one resiliently deformable member comprises a first surface configured to apply a first force to an outer surface of the frame member towards the associated opposed surface when the frame member is inserted into the core, and the at least one resiliently deformable member is configured to secure the frame member against said opposed surface when the frame member is inserted into the core.
Lift assembly and mount for a monitor of an electronic gaming machine
An electronic gaming machine includes a cabinet, a monitor configured to display an electronic game, a mount configured to secure the monitor to the cabinet, the mount including a carriage and a linkage assembly pivotably coupled to the carriage and the cabinet, and a lift assembly for moving the mount relative to the cabinet. The lift assembly includes a harness coupled to the carriage and a drive mechanism coupled to the harness and operable to selectively release and retract the harness for moving the monitor relative to the cabinet.
Stands for electronic devices
An example stand for an electronic device, includes a base, a column extending upward from the base, and an interface coupled to the column to engage with the electronic device to suspend the electronic device from the column. In addition, the stand includes a ringed light array coupled to the column that includes an outer diameter that is larger than the larger of a width and a length of the interface.
Shimbari Systems for the Stabilization of Surfaces
Based on the traditional shimbari principle, new methods for precise positioning and support of shimbari rods utilizing a modular aluminum framing system have been developed. With these innovations, a wide range of three-dimensional works of art can be treated, including large-scale sculptures with complex contours and irregular surfaces. These methods and systems include easily adaptable shimbari clamping devices and pivot mounts developed by a team of conservators and an industrial designer-fabricator in the Department of Objects Conservation at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Plane-distributed load sharing pressure device and use method thereof
The present disclosure relates to a plane-distributed load sharing pressure device and a use method thereof. The plane-distributed load sharing pressure device includes a first-stage balance rod to an Nth-stage balance rod, N≥2. The middle part of the first-stage balance rod is hinged to a force applying member. The two ends of the first-stage balance rod are respectively perpendicular to and hinged to the middle parts of second-stage balance rods. The two ends of the second-stage balance rod are respectively perpendicular to and hinged to the middle parts of third-stage balance rods. Similarly, the two ends of an (N−1)th-stage balance rod are respectively perpendicular to and hinged to the middle parts of Nth-stage balance rods. Force bearing members used for resolving a force applied by the force applying member to target members are arranged at the two ends of the Nth-stage balance rods.
SIDE PROTECTOR FOR UTILITY BOX PADS
Embodiments herein relate to a protective cover. In an embodiment, a sidewall cover for protecting a reinforcing element of a utility box pad is disclosed. The sidewall cover has a protective shield configured to extend over at least a portion of the sidewall reinforcing element. The protective shield can include a pointed blade configured to be pressed into the ground adjacent the utility box pad. Other embodiments are also included herein.
