Accommodation Device
Provided is an accommodation device capable of transporting a work vehicle(s) smoothly. The accommodation device is configured to accommodate a plurality of work vehicles that carry out a work while traveling autonomously, including a plurality of accommodation cases mounted on a load carrying bed of a transporter vehicle being capable of accommodating the plurality of work vehicles individually, a supporting section for supporting the plurality of accommodation cases respectively with allowing movement thereof along a preset path, an actuator for driving the supporting section for causing the accommodation cases to move along the path, and an electric generator for supplying electric power to the actuator.
Low pressure drop acoustic suppressor nozzle for fire protection inert gas discharge system
A fire suppression nozzle assembly includes a nozzle having a first tube defining an axially extending passageway. The passageway includes a plurality of primary outlets disposed on a sidewall of the first tube. The nozzle also includes a second tube circumscribing the first tube to define a chamber. The primary outlets provide fluid communication between the passageway and the chamber. A sidewall of the second tube has a first set of radially facing secondary outlets axially offset from the primary outlets in a first direction and a second set of radially facing secondary outlets axially offset from the primary outlets in a second direction opposite the first direction. The nozzles disclosed herein are configured such that gas exiting a plurality of outlet holes is balanced.
MOBILE FLUID EXPULSION DEVICE
An apparatus and method are provided for expelling a fluid, including vapor and liquid sprays. A spray is expelled at high velocities from a heated chamber via an exit valve. The chamber includes a flow member or structure that directs and controls the flow of the fluid from an inlet orifice to an outlet orifice along a non-linear path. This prevents the liquid from moving in a wave motion within the chamber if the apparatus is moved.
VERIFICATION METHOD FOR AN OXYGEN REDUCTION SYSTEM
A method for verifying system functions of an oxygen reduction system, said functions being used during operation. The oxygen reduction system reduces or maintains an oxygen concentration level in a protection region by supplying inert gas and to monitor or increase the oxygen concentration level, which has been previously reduced in the protection region or in a monitoring region. The method comprises: Detecting system functions being used during the operation of the oxygen reduction system. generating a license data set which contains licenses used by the system functions being used. reading a verification data set provided on a storage medium, wherein the verification data set contains at least one existing license— determining a license violation if each license used is not contained in the verification data set. outputting an error message, or deactivating at least one system function if a license violation is determined.
ENCLOSURE CONTAINING AN INERTING GAS AND COMPRISING A LIQUID DISCHARGING SYSTEM, AIRCRAFT HAVING SUCH AN ENCLOSURE
An enclosure containing an inerting gas and at least one liquid to be discharged. This enclosure comprises at least one orifice positioned in its lower part and a liquid discharging system positioned at the orifice. This liquid discharging system is configured to take up a closed state and an open state in which the system allows the liquid to flow towards the outside of the enclosure and includes at least one element that is elastically deformable depending on the pressure inside the enclosure and, depending on its deformation, controls the open or closed state of the liquid discharging system. This solution makes it possible to achieve simple and automatic regulation of the volume of the liquid in the enclosure, without a sensor. An aircraft including at least one such enclosure is also provided.
FIRE SUPPRESSION SPRINKLER DEVICE
A fire suppression sprinkler device 100 includes a sprinkler bulb 140, a nozzle manifold 160, and a conduit 190 for supplying fluid to the nozzle manifold 160. The sprinkler device 100 is arranged so that breakage of the sprinkler bulb 140 permits fluid communication from the interior of the conduit 180 to the nozzle manifold 160. The nozzle manifold 160 is disposed about the conduit 190.
FIRE SUPPRESSION NOZZLES AND SYSTEMS
A fire suppression nozzle includes an outer tubular member, an inner tubular member co-cylindrical with the outer tubular member and extending through the outer tubular member, wherein the inner tubular member comprises a first chamber, and the outer tubular member and the inner tubular member cooperatively define a second chamber, multiple disc members extending radially outward relative to an outer surface of the outer tubular member, a first and second set of openings extending through the inner tubular member to fluidly couple the first chamber with the second chamber, and a first and second set of discharge openings extending through the outer tubular member to fluidly couple the second chamber with an external environment, wherein the first and second set of openings are longitudinally aligned with the first and second set of discharge openings.
Vacuum assisted air separation module operation
A method of fuel tank inerting includes separating process air into nitrogen-enriched air and oxygen-enriched air with an air separation membrane. A vacuum is applied to the air separation membrane to produce a pressure differential across the air separation membrane. The vacuum is manipulated to vary the pressure differential and vary purity of the nitrogen-enriched air.
Sensor-based fire detection in a fluid conduit
A controller for a motor vehicle having an internal combustion engine, and a device for detecting a fire in a fluid conduit, the device having a fluid state sensor for detecting a state variable of a fluid that is conducted in the fluid conduit, are provided. The determination of a fire situation is performed in a manner dependent on a signal of the fluid state sensor.
FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM FOR BATTERY OF VEHICLE
A fire extinguishing system includes a gas discharger provided at a battery pack and configured to discharge gas in the battery pack, a gas channel configured so that the gas produced from the battery pack and discharged through the gas discharger flows through the gas channel when a fire occurs, an extinguishing agent tank in which an extinguishing agent is kept, a heat exchange channel provided in the extinguishing agent tank, connected to the gas channel so that the gas supplied through the gas channel flows through the heat exchange channel, and facilitating heat exchange between the gas flowing through the heat exchange channel and the extinguishing agent kept in the extinguishing agent tank, and a nozzle provided at the battery pack, connected to the extinguishing agent tank through an extinguishing agent supply channel, and supplying the extinguishing agent, which is supplied from the extinguishing agent tank, into the battery pack.
