Lubricant injector
A lubricant injector is provided including a body having a passageway, an inlet, an outlet, and an aperture for lubricant to flow from a measuring chamber into the passageway. A piston is slidable along the passageway. When the piston is in a retracted position, a discharge chamber is present in the passageway between the piston and the outlet. A biasing spring is disposed in the passageway for urging the piston towards the retracted position. The injector has a rest mode, wherein no pressurized lubricant is supplied to the inlet, and the piston is retracted. The injector has a pressurized mode wherein the piston is under pressure and is moved to its extended position to urge lubricant out the outlet. In the rest mode, the spring urges the piston towards its retracted position to create the discharge chamber and to open the aperture between the measuring chamber and the discharge chamber.

VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR MACHINE FLUID OPERATIONS
A system. The system includes a valve assembly. The valve assembly includes a first port, a second port fluidically couplable with the first port upon application of negative pressure at the first port, a third port fluidically couplable with the first port upon application of positive pressure at the first port, and a first check valve positioned between the first port and the second port. The system also includes a second check valve fluidically couplable with the third port upon the application of the positive pressure at the first port. The second check valve is positioned external to the valve assembly.
BARGE SPUD GREASING SYSTEM
A spud greasing system includes a spudwell and a spud configured to slidingly engage with the spudwell between a deployed position and an undeployed position. The spud includes an access window configured to align and correspond with a window of the spudwell when the spud is in the undeployed position. A sheave assembly is mounted in the spud and includes a first sheave and a second sheave rotationally mounted proximate a front end and a back end of the housing, respectively. When the spud is in the undeployed position, a grease supply is configured to be selectively connected to a supply pipe through the window and access window of the spudwell and spud thereby supplying grease to the first sheave of the sheave assembly without removing the spud from the spudwell.
LUBRICANT DELIVERY SYSTEM AND METHOD
A lubricant delivery system includes a valve manifold, an electronic controller, and a pressure sensor for determining whether there is adequate lubricant flow in the system. The valve manifold receives lubricant from a pressurized source. The valve manifold includes a plurality of valves configured to control the flow of lubricant to respective applicators. The electronic controller controls the opening and closing of the valves. The pressure sensor measures lubricant pressure in the valve manifold, and outputs a signal to the electronic controller. The signal correlates to a lubricant pressure value in the valve manifold. The electronic controller uses the lubricant pressure values to derive an indication of lubricant flow (via the valves) to the applicators.
Grease replacement method and grease suction device
The present invention relates to a grease replacement method of replacing grease in a case (84) including a sealable gear chamber (31, 36) accommodating a gear (85) as a member to be lubricated, a grease injection port (61, 62) configured to inject grease into the gear chamber (31, 36), and a discharge port (32, 37) configured to discharge the grease in the gear chamber (31, 36), and a grease suction device to be used to perform this method. The grease replacement method includes a suction step (S2) of sucking the grease in the gear chamber (31, 36) from the grease injection port (61, 62) with the discharge port (32, 37) being open, and discharging the grease outside the case (84), and an injection step (S4) of injecting new grease into the grease injection port (61, 62) and supplying the new grease to the gear (85). This facilitates discharging of old grease.
