11639772 · 2023-05-02 ·

The engine oil collection container comprises a collection pan and a perforated cover. The engine oil collection container may be a container for collecting oil. One or more emptied oil bottles may be held in an inverted position by a plurality of bottle apertures located on the perforated cover so that residual oil within the one or more emptied oil bottles may drain into the collection pan. A top aperture located at the top center of the perforated cover may be operable to collect the oil from a non-bottled oil source. As a non-limiting example, the non-bottled oil source may be an oil collection basin or a vehicle oil pan. In some embodiments, the engine oil collection container may comprise a rolling stand that is operable to reduce friction between the bottom of the collection pan and the ground when moving the container.

Fluid catchment assembly
11655938 · 2023-05-23 ·

A fluid catchment assembly for capturing fluids leaking from an internal combustion engine includes an oil pan structured to fit over a factory installed oil pan of an internal combustion engine thereby facilitating the oil pan to capture fluids that leak from the internal combustion engine. A sight glass is fluidly integrated into the oil pan thereby facilitating the sight glass to visually display a fluid level in the oil pan. A plug is insertable into the drain for closing the drain and a pair of attachments is each attached between the internal combustion engine and the oil pan. Each of the attachments releasably retains the oil pan on the internal combustion engine.

Disposable oil change kit
11440510 · 2022-09-13 ·

A disposable liquid disposal tool is provided for collecting liquids and for changing engine oil or other hydrocarbon containing products whereby the liquid, spent oil, or hydrocarbon is encapsulated in a non-biodegradable substance rendering the kit safe for disposal in a non-hazard or controlled substance landfill. A disposable container insert tray may be composed of rows separating conical shaped depressions that are used to channel the liquid to all levels of the container so that liquids can be exposed to the maximum volume of the non-biodegradable substance for total encapsulation. In embodiments, the top of the liquid disposal container may be covered with an open weave fabric material that acts as a diffuser whereby the liquid materials are spread more equally throughout the confines of the container and on to the surface of the tray insert.

Residual oil drainage system and related method for replacing an oil filter of an engine
10934905 · 2021-03-02 · ·

A residual oil drainage system for use in replacement of the oil filter of an internal combustion engine is disclosed. The drainage system may include first and second drainage conduits disposed in the oil pan of the engine. The drainage conduits may be fluidly interconnected and coupled to portions of the oil inlet and outlet flow conduits which normally convey oil to and from the oil filter. A flow control device is movable to either open or close the drainage flowpath in the system. In use with an open flowpath and engine off, residual oil captured by the first and second drainage conduits flows through the drainage system and is returned to the oil reservoir in the oil pan via gravity. In one configuration, the drainage conduits are formed internally and directly within the body of the structure of the oil pan.
