A low-profile fluid transfer device has an annular base with a top and a bottom, and an annular peripheral wall defining an enclosed interior of the base. A plurality of spaced apart straight ridges are formed within the enclosed interior of the base and define respective flow channels. Each flow channel slopes downward from a first end proximate an inside of the annular peripheral wall towards an open second end away from the annular peripheral wall. A catchment area is located adjacent the open second end of each of the flow channels. A drain hole is formed within the catchment area and extends through the base from the top to the bottom.

A fluid draining system, for serving as an aid in emptying waste oil or other fluid from a fluid container to a fluid collection container, includes a main body, which may be made of injection molded plastic and may be at least partially transparent. The main body may have an opening for entrance of fluid from the fluid container, and a lower downward sloping chute for the exiting of the fluid towards the fluid collection container. A sleeve with one or more elastic seals may be provided at the main body to fluid-tightly yet operatively accommodate a socket extension or other tool for operating a drain plug of the fluid container. The fluid draining system may provide a unique hands free, confined fluid flow channel through which fluid will flow while draining from the fluid container, such as from an engine oil pan, crankcase, or transmission sump.

A drainage system comprising a first bracket having a horizontal structure and one or more vertical structures, a second bracket having a horizontal structure and one or more vertical structures and a drain pan having a plurality of locking mechanisms, each configured to interlock with one of the vertical structures of the first bracket or the second bracket.

A chemical containment pan for use with a corner and side locking connectors having locking inserts. The pan has four sidewalls and a bottom wall, with each sidewall having a top rail portion with two having top rail extension portion with a downwardly extending outer flange portion which overlap an adjacent pan. Each of the top rail corner portions has a corner aperture sized to removably receive one insert of the corner connector to lock two or four adjacent pans together. The spill containment assembly includes a series of wall segments coupled together and a series of adjustable clips for coupling the wall segments to the storage rack. The series of wall segments together define a perimeter of a spill containment chamber for containing the fluids leaked from the one or more devices.

A lubrication system of a transmission includes a plurality of oil passages formed in an upper portion of a transmission case and supplied with churning oil, a plurality of oil outlets branched from respective oil passages formed in the transmission case and allowing oil supplied from the oil passages to free-fall, and an oil collecting portion formed at an interior of the case wall between the gear case and the motor case. In particular, the oil collecting portion collects oil free-falling from at least one oil outlet branched from at least one oil passage at the gear case, through a through-hole formed at a case wall of the gear case, and then supplies the collected oil to an exterior lubrication portion.

A drip pan apparatus for use in a helicopter includes a drip pan and a frame having a plurality of frame sides and a plurality of frame corners that define an inwardly-facing peripheral surface. A first frame angle is formed between a first inwardly-facing surface and a second inwardly-facing surface. The first frame angle is an acute angle. The drip pan has an outwardly-facing peripheral surface. The outwardly-facing peripheral surface defines a plurality of sides, including a first side and a second side, to cooperate with the inwardly-facing peripheral surface of the frame. A method of installing a drip pan includes modifying at least a portion of a skirt on the helicopter and then securing the frame to one or both of the modified skirt and the helicopter structure.
