Fluid catchment assembly
11655938 · 2023-05-23 ·

A fluid catchment assembly for capturing fluids leaking from an internal combustion engine includes an oil pan structured to fit over a factory installed oil pan of an internal combustion engine thereby facilitating the oil pan to capture fluids that leak from the internal combustion engine. A sight glass is fluidly integrated into the oil pan thereby facilitating the sight glass to visually display a fluid level in the oil pan. A plug is insertable into the drain for closing the drain and a pair of attachments is each attached between the internal combustion engine and the oil pan. Each of the attachments releasably retains the oil pan on the internal combustion engine.

A method of testing an electrical submersible pump (ESP) component may include placing an ESP component in a transport assembly at a first location for transport to a second location. The ESP component may be tested or maintained while the ESP component remains in the transport assembly, before being deployed at a wellsite. The ESP components can be prepared in the transport assembly to be lifted (including placement of lifting clamps) to run in hole. In various embodiment, the transport assembly may comprise the ESP component and a transport basket configured for stacking multiple transport assemblies.

A port insert for a marine lower unit includes a hollow body having a first end and a second end, the second end having a first exterior thread configured to couple with a cap and one or more apertures formed in the body adjacent the first end. The port insert also includes a spring mechanism disposed within the hollow body. The port insert further includes a sealing member coupled to the spring mechanism, the sealing member being biased toward the second end in a non-use state.

Axle Assembly Drain Plug Guard For Landfill Compactor

The present disclosure is an axle assembly for a landfill compactor. The axle assembly may comprise an axle housing, a carrier housing located proximate the center of the axle housing, a drain plug located on an underside of the carrier housing, and a guard attached to the underside of the carrier housing with adhesive such that the guard covers the drain plug, the guard being configured to protect and give access to the drain.

Oil drain receptacle attachment

An oil drain receptacle attachment, integrated system and method of use for providing a closed, clean catch system for the requisition of used motor oil for recycling. The oil drain attachment itself is positioned between a flexible drain tube and a collection receptacle where the reversibly attachable oil drain attachment allows for securing of the flexible tubing to an opening of the receptacle, in operation, that is capable of initiating and ceasing flow, through an on and off functionality, in addition to intermediate, partial opening and closing positions, as well as providing ventilation that facilitates the exit of air with the introduction of used oil into a collection receptacle for transportation and disposal.

PUMP WITH ANGLED DRAIN SYSTEM
20200393083 · 2020-12-17 ·

A pump, such as a vacuum pump, includes at least one housing and a motor and oil reservoir disposed within the housing. The pump housing can include a bottom exterior surface and one or more side and/or front exterior surfaces that extend generally up from the bottom exterior surface. An oil drain port can be positioned at or near the intersection of the bottom exterior surface and the side or front exterior surface. The housing can include an interior bottom surface that defines at least a portion of a drain passageway for the pump and can be fluidicly coupled to the oil reservoir. At least a portion of the interior bottom surface can be angled downward at an acute angle to the horizontal towards the oil drain port to improve the draining and replacement of oil in the pump.

An oil change cap and system are described. A removable oil cap kit includes a removable oil cap and an oil retention bag. The removable oil cap incudes a sidewall and an interior surface, the interior surface has an opening extending therethrough. The sidewall includes an inner portion and an outer portion. The outer portion of the sidewall includes a channel formed therein for retaining an oil retention bag. The inner portion of the sidewall includes one or more protrusions to couple the removable oil cap with the oil receptacle of a motor.

Liquid containment device and containment of leakage from a liquid reservoir

A liquid containment device and method for containing leakage from a liquid reservoir. The liquid containment device comprises a base and a peripheral wall that comprises flexible resilient folds that allow a portion of the peripheral wall to be flattened against the floor to slide the liquid containment device under the liquid reservoir. The peripheral wall is resilient and returns readily to a position where it extends upwardly from the base when released. The liquid containment device can be installed by lifting slightly a reservoir, flattening a portion of the peripheral wall, sliding it under the reservoir until the flattened portion protrudes past the far edge of the reservoir whereupon it resiliently regains its shape forming a receptacle under the reservoir. Abstract not to be interpreted as limiting.
