Oil soluble additive injection apparatus
A lubricant additive dispensing apparatus comprising a tubular housing having a fluid supply passageway and a fluid discharge passageway; a filtration element; a fluid additive element (containing a volume of fluid additive); and a biasing element. The filtration element, fluid additive element and biasing element are assembled in a linear arrangement parallel to a central axis of the dispenser main body. The arrangement is such where the biasing element applies a compression force to each of the filtration element and the fluid additive element.
Oil cleaner with heated evaporation surface, to remove water and volatiles
A circulating oil stream cleaner wherein oil to be cleaned is passed through filter medium to remove particulates carried by the circulating oil and through an evaporator unit having a flat, inclined, evaporation surface comprising a top surface of a heat conductive heating block with an electric heater probe therein and positioned closely beneath the heating surface and, with the circulating oil being conductively heated as it passes beneath the heating block, up a frontal end of the heating block and cascades onto and spreads as a film over and then off the heating surface of the heating block through an exit port of the evaporator unit; an evaporation chamber provided above the heating surface allows heated air to circulate over and convectively heat the film of oil and to escape with entrained water and volatiles.
Water drain system for oil reserve tank
The present invention relates to a water drain system of an oil reserve tank, which comprises: an oil reserve tank; an oil and water separator for separating the drained water coming from the oil reserve tank; a drain pipe extended from the oil reserve tank to the oil and water separator, the drain pipe having a vertical part to form a step; and a water detection sensor installed in the vertical part.
Apparatus and method
A fluid reservoir system for a vehicle engine, which engine comprises a fluid circulation system, the reservoir system comprising a container for fluid, in which the container comprises at least one fluid inlet port, at least one fluid outlet port and at least one vent port and in which, each of said ports comprises a self-sealing coupling adapted to connect to a corresponding coupling on the vehicle engine to thereby connect said container in fluidic communication with the fluid circulation system of the engine and in which the reservoir system comprises at least one latch which is adapted to retain said container in fluidic communication with said vehicle engine fluid circulation system and is remotely operable to disconnect said container from said vehicle engine fluid circulation system and in which the system comprises at least one actuator which is connected to one or more of said latches and is adapted to operate said one or more latches and said container is elongate; said inlet, outlet and vent ports are located at a common first end of said container; and said at least one actuator is operable at a second end of said container, distal from said ports. Also provided is a method of supplying fluid to a vehicle engine using said fluid reservoir system.
Handheld four-stroke engine lubricating system
A handheld four-stroke engine lubricating system comprises: an oil storage chamber formed by a bottom casing and a lower tank body, a crankshaft chamber formed by the lower tank body and an upper tank body, an air valve chamber formed by the upper tank body and a cylinder head cover, a cam chamber formed by the upper tank body and a cam chamber cover, and a tappet chamber connected between the air valve chamber and the cam chamber. The two sides of the upper and lower tank bodies are correspondingly provided with a first and a second oil inlet passages communicated with the oil storage chamber and the crankshaft chamber. The first and the second oil inlet passages are correspondingly provided with first and second check valves thereon. The first oil inlet passage is connected to a hose pressed against the bottom casing.
VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR MACHINE FLUID OPERATIONS
Various embodiments of valve assemblies are provided for use in connection with the fluid systems of machines such as engine-powered machines. The valve assemblies may be used for performing fluid refill operations, fluid evacuation operations, fluid purge operations, and other types of fluid operations in connection with machine maintenance.
Lubricating oil filter assembly
A lubricating oil filter assembly is provided for an internal combustion engine that includes, but is not limited to a body provided with: an oil inlet, an oil outlet, a conduit connecting the oil inlet to the oil outlet, and a chamber suitable for accommodating a filter element, the chamber being in communication with the oil inlet and with the oil outlet. The lubricating oil filter assembly further includes, but is not limited to a valve assembly arranged within the conduit to enable a flow of lubricating oil in dependence of the pressure of the lubricating oil at the oil inlet.
LUBRICATING OIL PURIFICATION SYSTEM AND LUBRICATING OIL PURIFICATION METHOD
A lubricating oil purification system for purifying a stock solution mixed with ammonia water into lubricating oil, the lubricating oil purification system includes: an engine; a lubricating oil purifier configured to separate a stock solution containing the lubricating oil used in the engine into a light liquid which is at least the purified lubricating oil and a heavy liquid containing ammonia; and a water supply unit configured to supply water into a separation chamber during operation of the lubricating oil purifier.
